Clifftop Cottage, Palchan, is just the right place to be in if you’re planning on a trip to Manali and if you want to be away from the crowd. A scenic place with an excellent view of Pir Panjal ranges, neat and tidy ambience with an aesthetic touch are an add ons… The main takeaway from the experience I had in this cottage is one of the best hospitality and a very tourist friendly host, Mr. Kapil. Would definitely recommend, if you’re looking for a place near Manali. 

If you want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of main Manali then this is the right place for you. This place has a perfect mix of soothing peace, impeccable view and great host.
The rooms will provide a mesmerizing view of the entire manali city, solang valley and snow covered mountain tops of rohtang pass.
You will be pleasantly disturbed by the soothing sound of water flowing through the valley and birds chirping.
The property has a stunning garden with some beautiful climbing roses and so many other flowers and these are a treat for the eyes.
Last but not the least, you can indulge in a deep and interesting conversation over a cup of tea with the super host Mr. Kapil Thakur. If you have not finalised your itinerary then don't worry, Mr. Kapil Thakur will help you with some amazing tips. 
If you want to experience the pure essence of Manali, mountains and nature then this is the place for you.

Kapil turned my solo trip into a never forgetful experience . What does a female needs when travelling solo: the feeling of being safe. Clifftop is the ultimate place for all the female explorers traveling solo. My complete trip was just a bliss . Thankyou so much Kapil for creating such a wonderful experience for me. People like you just reaffirm the trust with which I travel to Himachal on my own. I will never ever forget the Lahaul adventure day. Looking forward to my next trip with you soon.

According to me if we r travelling manali for trip we must try CLIFFTOP as it's different from hotel 
We might not get the hotel ambience but otherway it's way on top 
It's situated on the hill mountain area where u find clouds and Greenery every where
How much I say it's very less for it 
So when someone will go then only they will experience

 The property has a serene location and gives you a five star hotel treatment. The food was awesome and the staff was also very cooperative. I thank the owners for their warm gesture and making our trip a memorable experience. 


It was an awesome experience for us to stay in this cottage for 3 days. It had superb location on the Cliff overlooking the beautiful snow capped mountains of manali and Solang Valley and on the left kothi and rohtang. Kapilji was an awesome host and makes our stay feel like home. It's wonderful to eat local dishes and know about the tradition and culture. I would always come and stay here whenever we come to Manali.

The scene from the window takes us to a fantasy world, like a fairy tale. Snow capped mountains with a river coming down it's side. The room convenience is very good. Room service and food is excellent. Staff is extremely cooperative. 

This review was long pending as we had visited Clifftop cottage twice on our trips to Spiti and to Leh. The property is located on the top of a cliff offering beautiful views of the mountains and solang valley.

Kapil, the host, is very welcoming and helpful. Our second visit was during the corona times and we were travelling with our pet. Since we had visited this place earlier also and knew the property and the host we decided to stay there. 

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. You can have your meals in the beautiful lawn while gazing at the scenery.

Visit the place to have a comfortable stay with family.

Lush green environment and surrounded by blissful Himalayas while being in proximity to solang Valley, you get to see paragliders from your balcony. To top it all Service folks and owner's generous approch make this place most comforting. Network connectivity is also really good. All in all i feel this good be the best property in Himachal. 

Most certainly i'll visit there again and also recommend others to must try.
