Best rooms at affordable prices with private balcony and garden view . Friendly staff... Good food. Very peaceful property. They arranged bonfire at night. 1 kms from Western group of temples. Highly recommended

Best budget rooms in Khajuraho. It used to be a zostel property hence it has that zostel vibe. Rooms are clean, service is good and staff is too helpful, but above all the location is just perfect (just 150m from the temple gate).

)This is a hostel which was earlier a part of Zostel chain. This is the best property for those who really wants to enjoy Khajuraho. Owner of the hotel Sh Kamal Dev Singh ( 7000982187) is a nice man. This is a hotel with no facility of restaurant. However they have a rooftop cafe which is generally not operated except on the request of group. There are rooms and dorms. Rooms are very spacious. Hotel is very clean. Mostly young crowd prefer this hostel. If you are travelling with friends or family without kids then this place is highly recommended. Hotel is very affordable. It is in the main market and adjoining the western group of temples, which are the main part of Khajuraho attraction. Just in fron of hotel there is tea shop known as western canteen, where you can get tea, coffee and bread butter.

Moustache, the manager, was amazing with us. He provided exceptional service and took care of us all the time (will all of our crazy requests!). Bedrooms are big enough to not feel overwhelmed and really clean too. 100% recomendable. We will come back again. Thanks Moustache! <3

The Headquarters is situated in front of the lake. Shailendra was very helpful and attention. We were there for 1 night and had a great experience. Must stay if you are in Khajuraho. Highly recommended place. 

When I came here, didn't expect that much good hospitality I will receive. The total area is near to western group of temples, easily accessible all visiting places of Khajuraho. The staff are very nice. I traveled solo, didn't face any problem here. The manager Ashish is very good person, he helped me a lot. I came here on last day of year 31st December, didn't think about party and all. There was organised a party, they invited me and I enjoyed a lot with fellow travelers. One moustache uncle (don't remember his name), he is also nice. In night, we were enjoying, listening music and bonfire. He came and sang old song with us. 

You can reach here from railway station or airport easily from sharing auto or private.

A trip to a place like Khajuraho MUST be filled with ecstacy, joy, eroticism and of course, colors! That's exactly what Headquarter Khajuraho had to offer to us!!
We were looking for that colorful, youthful and fun-filled place to stay for our trip here. We surveyed many blogs, websites and reviews. Finally, came across this amazing place of stay. The Bundelkhand Link Train arrived early morning at the Khajuraho Station, but we were granted a stand-by room for rest. The hotel features both dorms and family rooms. The entrance to the Western Group of Temples is merely less than 500 metres! Situated right beside the main road, you will have shops of almost every nature, alongwith ATMS, Cafes and restaurants. Khajuraho is a very small town and the main hangout is Raja Chowk, where you get almost anything! Autos and Totos are available from the hotel to the airport and railway station, easily. There are shops selling artifacts, mementos, garments, grocery, etc. all nearby.
The rooms were very spacious, clean and airy! Spacious bathroom with hot water, whenever you require. The hotel has a lot of space all around it, just if you like to hang out. The guest sitting area is so colorful and green - just awakes the traveler in you! The management is very cooperative, where you have assistance, available almost 24 hours.

Hemant ji (owner), Asish ji, Shailendra ji and the other staff were just remarkable in their hospitality. Visiting the Eastern and Southern group of Temples is also easy from this point of stay. Autos and Totos are easily available. Perfect for Indian, foreign, solo or family travelers. Filter water is available 24 hours with comfortable beds. Remarkable place of stay with an unforgettable hospitality - Headquarter Khajuraho, it is!

Just only if the insects can be taken care of. On our next visit, hopefully, we will not find one.

Suggested hostel, clean and modern structure well located as it is two minutes walking from Khajuraho temples. The owner Mr Moustache makes you feel home and helps you with lot of services. If you have enough time ask him for the waterfalls tour!

A clean hotel with friendly staff. We had a private room with en suite and a lovely balcony overlooking the lake. 
The hotel is in a great location and a very short walk to the Western group of temples. Cost is INR 600 and they are beautiful temples with great opportunities for lovely photos. 
We ate at the nearby ‘Lassi corner’ -  best Lassi in Khajuraho!  Great paratha too and very cheap. We paid little over £1 for two people.
Our host ‘Mr Moustache’ (great moustache, sir!) was extremely helpful and arranged some tours for us. We took tours to Raneh falls, Teeth mountain at sunset, the Southern and Eastern temples and Mr M even arranged for us to visit a local government school, which was a real highlight of our stay. At no point did we feel at all pressured into taking any tours with the staff, they gave us lots of useful information and made us feel welcome and at home. Thank you so much, we had a great stay.

I like the room mostly and the ambiance of Headquarters. We celebrate the new year evening its really awesome and the Party went with full-on rocking. The room is very much clean and the ambiance is super. Thanks Headquarters

Exotic, Serene and Fun - Headquarter Khajuraho

Pleasant stay 

This place was the best we came across during our stay in India, we wish we would have stayed longer. 
The staff was very helpful and gave us good suggestions, we loved the common area where one can chill and meet other guests. We had a private room, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom large and clean; as it often happens in India, the bed sheets were not the cleanest so we used our own.
The location is convenient, a few minutes from the Western temples and in front of the lake so to offer a beautiful view at sunset.

Amazing

A small hotel, located centrally opposite the Shiv Sagar Lake at Khajuraho. We had stayed in it for two nights during our recent trip to Khajuraho. The booking was done online with absolutely no knowledge of the actual conditions on ground. We were scared by colleagues stating that the conditions were sub standard etc etc, thus we walked in skeptically. Thank God for the great staff, the place gave us two lovely peaceful nights in Khajuraho. Do not expect five star hotel ambience, but this little hotel is just the place for a quiet weekend out. The room was absolutely clean with a fully functional bathroom. Yes, there were no toiletries, but then one carries one's own. The staff is out of this world. Helpful and balanced. Any request was promptly catered for. They organised our trip to Panna in a very efficient and systematic manner. The place was a Zostel and functions like a hostel, just the place for young travellers, but we enjoyed our two nights there. The only shortcoming is the lack of a restaurant, with the same under renovation. Once the same is complete, I am sure there can't be a better place in Khajuraho to spend a weekend.

CENTRALLY LOCATED HOTEL, ABSOLUTELY GREAT STAFF

This is one hostel which is so known in the city and highly recommended by almost all locals, that it really struck me how well known it is. Location wise its superb as its a mere 2 min walk from the western group of temples you want to visit, and also the lane where it is is full of restaurants and shops for anything you would need. The staff is super friendly and would arrange all kinds of resources you would need to visit all nearby attractions, including Panna Natiinal Park, Raneh Falls etc.They also have a self serving kitchen on top floor. We had gone during christmas holidays and the staff organised a fun party, complete with music, decorations and some snacks at midnight. Overall highly recommended stay at affordable budget.
