OYO 15144 Hotel Ankit

we had a gathering of about 100 people at hotel ankit, hall was well decorated, service was fast, food taste was good the only problem was that lift was not working properly,
overall a good experience, sanjay ji from hotel was very good and coperative

The best part of this hotel is their hospitality. during my sister's marriage my sister me, and few of our relatives stayed there for few days and the hotel staff made us feel like home. one advise do not book a hotel cab, the owner of the cab line can charge you a way lot than usually one has to pay. Complementary breakfast and rooms are really neat and clean.

family gathering at hotel ankit

Stayed for a couple of nights recently booked via goibibo. Found the reception easy. The rooms are spacious for the price tag that i purchased them. The service is quick and friendly. Mostly availed room service, while the food was ok , it was not really something one would like to have more than  once or twice. The only thing that needs improvement is better noise control especially in the rooms facing the street. This can be a bothering. There is reliance fresh just below the hotel so one can get most the things down there. there are a couple of restaurants right in front, in case one wants to skip hotel food. very strategic location. Recommended for short stays.

A decent option at the heart of jabalpur

Decent hotel at a decent price. Rooms were clean. Bathroom was clean. Room service is okay. But they did not have basis toiletries, which had to be bought from outside. Breakfast was average, but good. No non vegetraian though. I would say value for money though. Have a newly renovated restaurant downstairs. Recommended for budget travelers.

Good budget hotel

The hotel location is good. The housekeeping boys are good. The hotel needs maintenance. There was a water problem in my room which was not attended. The wash basin tap was choked and was not attended. There is no proper room service now. Tea ordered was served cold.

Average hotel

I needed a hotel to take rest for a few hours with my family members as our train was reaching Jabalpur early morning and we were to go for site seeing later in the day. Checked some hotels on goibibo and makemytrip and this one showed up with good reviews so booked it by directly calling the hotel. It turned to be my worst experience in so many years of travelling. Shady and dirty corridors, no hot water in the bathroom, water itself was either not coming or coming very slow, ac and fan making noise, unclean room and bed sheets, i mean everything that can be wrong, was wrong - worse than a dharamshala. For 4 hours of stay, in 2 rooms, paid 2500 rupees and worst of all, the staff did not give a damn about our complaints. I think such hotels should be completely barred from doing business. I no longer can trust reviews posted on  goibibo or makemytrip, looks like they are all paid and fake.

really bad hotel, not worth going even if its free

Very bad experience. You don’t get hot water round the clock. The remote of the ac doesn’t work. Tried calling the reception but the phone was not working. I finally got a remote from the reception but they were willing to take the remote away after setting the temperature.Also I couldn’t sleep well at night because of some loud late night party happening in the hall next to my room. The party continued till about 11pm. Moreover you will get confused by the switches. Some switches will turn on when turned off (some of the switches are mounted upside down). If this wasn’t enough, a mechanic came to repair the wash basin while we were staying in the room. The room was an ac room and we were three people and stayed for one day. The buffet breakfast serves only veg items. They don’t even provide a toaster to toast breads in case you take butter toast. For this, I paid ₹3000. Not worth the price. I have stayed in better hotels at this price.
