OYO 1058 Hotel Royal Garden

long time back, I have been staying in this hotel. I chose it again, because I had work nearby. On reaching, I came to know about double booking. Reception advised me to cancel one of the booking and keep that was already paid.

Staff recognized me and acknowledged by their services. All was graceful and very cooperative. Whenever I am in Kolkata, I would always prefer to stay here, alone, with friends/family.

Good job guys, please keep it up.

Visited last week. Good location, helpfull, cordial staffs, Good food with resonable price, Rooms are spacious,clean equipped with all modern amenities. Very good in room dining. Professional staffs. Even door keepers are very polite. They will ask for help from check-in to check-out. May be its a small hotel but its rocking with their nice gesture, helpfull staffs, quality foods. 
Amazing service that I never expected. Overall stay were excellent. We will definately go there.😊👍

Family event organised in the hotel’s banquet hall. It is spacious, look is good. However, food can be improved upon. Banquet has comfortable space for a gathering of 50-100 people. Overall satisfied with the facilities. Improvement area is food.

Good Hotel, Good Service and Good people

Good space for family functions

My experience with this hotel wasnt very great. Grumpy staff and unclean rooms are the highlights. Cockroaches run around the rooms. Location isnt great either. Good for couples seeking a temporary hide-out. Their rates are competitive. They try to promote direct bookings over the app bookings.

Not worth the money

Thank god there is no option for negative rating. Booked through Agoda with an option of paying at the hotel. When reached hotel, staff were rude. Didn't share wifi password and claimed until the customer is asking why should we provide. No soaps, hand wash, smoking rooms (where in the booking it was mentioned No Smoking). Filthy, lipstick marks, very small room as compared to spacious rooms as mentioned in the online booking. Car Park is over the street on own risk where as mentioned free parking in the booking.   Have paid extra for breakfast but they didn't serve anything. Told to talk to Agoda. Very disgusting behaviour from the staff. And when asked for the billing invoice they told it will be available in the Site (Agoda) where the booking was made whereas I paid at the hotel. After checking out when I contacted  Agoda, their customer service told to contact the property since I have paid there. Again the Hotel is telling ask Agoda, they will reach us and then we will provide the bill. That never happened I had to pay from my pocket and lost because of non availability of tax invoice while claiming for reimbursement.
Hence never ever go to this hotel with family.

The worst hotel Royal Garden - Park Street, Kolkata

I had a booking for three days. Due to some Family issues I reached the second day at 3 am. The staff was extremely rude and mean to me and shut the door on my face. I was left without an accommodation in the middle of the night. It took two hours and six hotel visits to find an accommodation finally. Very very bad. 

Denied accommodation at 3am

We had a very horrible experience with this hotel. Rooms were not clear. Bedsheets, Blankets and towels were not clean. Bathroom was filthy with broken ca mode. Room had some kind of filthy smell. We stayed in Room 304 (13 Oct 2018) in 3rd floor. Food was also horrible and also the service. Also the staff was not cooperative in all the aspects.

Horrible experience with this hotel

nothing is royal about royal garden!
I had checked in a room which
1. was infested by bed bucks and and other flying insects.
2. the air conditioner couldn't be remote controlled.
3. bathroom was filthy.
4. bathroom tap dint work.
5.towel was not given.
6. pillow was an antique.
7. no night bulb.
only two plus points.
1. located in park street.
2. staff is helpful



Nightmare 

Bad location, mentenance is horrible, torn bed sheets, TV, phone not working. So they offered to exchange to a small rooms, which were not clean Carridors are dumped with useless material. Staff is reluctant to service. Forced to order only from their kitchen and quantity is bad.
