Hotel Grand Paradise Inn

Good location, the hotel is right near the lake. Its a 5 floors hotel with about 10 to 12 rooms in each floor. They have a separate veg restaurant and also another veg/non-veg restaurant. Kodai weather was awesome even in peak summer, but as usual super crowded especially due Apr 18 to 21 long weekend. Detailed review of the hotel below : Pros. 1. In Kodai, most resorts don't have balcony, this one had balcony with a nice green view and not the view of congested city. 2. Rooms size, cleanliness and facilities are OK for the rate (We cannot expect plushness for this rate Peak season Rs. 2800 for room with balcony, else its less than 2k) 3. Just 500 meters from lake 4. They also arranged for an inside forest trip which generally needs special permission, at an additional cost of Rs..350/head + Rs.150 for local sightseeing (local sight seeing didn't happen though we paid, as forest trip itself got very delayed to due heavy crowd and traffic jams) 5. Food was OK, they have a veg-non-veg lunch/dinner restaurant and another only veg restaurant also. 6. They also have chocolate and dry fruit store in the hotel which is also convenient. Cons 1. Nothing really much.
