After searching the internet for a long time, I found this gem of a place. We were a family of 8 and the villa provided to us was really good with a private pool which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. The rooms were beautiful and cozy. They even helped us for an early check in.
The private kihim beach was just walkable distance, but we couldn't enjoy much as it was not much clean.
The meals were really good and tasty and the service was prompt.
We even tried the indoor spa and the spa girl Shraddha was really good.
Lastly I would like to thank the entire staff especially Pooja and Jayesh for being so attentive and prompt service which made our stay very relaxing and enjoyable.

Superb 

Three of us friends spent a weekend at Mango Beach House in Awas, Alibaug, which comprises individual rooms arranged around a large and clean swimming pool. It was a rainy weekend, and we were the only guests on the property which is just a 15-minute drive from the RoRo jetty at Mandwa. Our room was kept ready for an early check-in and we were very well looked after during our one-night stay by Aniket. The rooms are large and tastefully decorated and the bathroom is big and includes a changing room space with adequate storage and even an overhead fan! We noticed eco-friendly products throughout the property like tissue and toilet paper made of bamboo, sulphate-free shower gel and shampoo. We had evening tea, dinner and breakfast at the property, that were excellently prepared by Nirmala. We pre-ordered the dishes for our dinner (including locally sourced fish) and breakfast, all of which had a lovely homemade flavour to them! We were told Awas beach was 3 kms away, which we couldn’t visit, but we had a refreshing walk around the verdant property grounds that is clean and well-maintained, and down the lane outside the property. We look forward to staying at the villas at Mango Beach House in Kihim some day!

Relaxing weekend in Alibaug!

Writing the review to help travellers be aware of a hidden gem and experience the property themselves.

The bungalow itself was absolutely stunning, and the amenities provided were top-notch. I especially loved the spacious outdoor seating with dining and the lovely pool. It truly felt like a home away from home. 

I also wanted to extend my thanks to the caretakers who were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay. They made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort.

Lastly, I must mention the food. The meals prepared were absolutely delicious, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. It was such a treat to have such amazing home-cooked meals during my stay.

Once again, thank you for providing such a wonderful experience. I will definitely be recommending your bungalow to my friends and family.

A Hidden Gem at Kihim Beach 

For years I had heard about Leena's Mango Beach house and kept promising myself that one day we would definitely go. 
My family came to visit over the Christmas vacation and my daughter's one request was that we get away from Mumbai for just a couple of days. 
From beginning to the end, our experience at the property was wonderful. The, decor is tasteful, the food is excellent, the staff so attentive, there was nothing we were lacking. 
There's something to suit everyone -  from a five bedroom villa with a beautiful private pool for large groups to two bedroom villas for smaller groups. The most charming thing about it is that each villa has it's own unique style.
The villa we took had two rooms with out own indoor swimming pool, and steps away from the beach. It could not have been more perfect.

I've promised myself that whenever we have visitors, a trip to the Mango Beach House will always be on our itinerary

Outstanding

We went there with a huge group. Lovely place catering to all our needs. Lovely rroms. And a nice swimming pool to have a dip in. Food was multi cuisine and made to all.our specifications. Raj,the owner also spent time with us and regaled us with Alibaug takes. Loved it. Took the Ro-Ro ferry from Mumbai so we could use our own car. Very cordial staff. And clean.

Awesome villa

I visited the property with a small group of people. They had proper Covid protocols in place. The pool is amazing. The kids in our group had a blast. The food was perfect throughout and service by staff was great. A nice place to spend a few days and with Roro services easy to reach as well.

Great Weekend Getaway

Before i start saying anything else, I have to admit I have not come across such a warm & caring host like Leena. Such is her aura, it just settles down any co-vid jitters one might have relating to safety of the place. 
   The property is huge, we settled in a 2 BHK Villa with a private swimming pool. The room, the architecture, the smallest details in their furniture, the way the rooms are left us in awe about the magnificence of the property. 
   The beach is at stone's throw distance from the property. 2 min walk.
Their food forte without doubt is the sea food. Be it the finger licking prawns curry or the lip-smacking pomfret rava masala. They don't make it better than them in sea food. Chinese & other cuisine can get better but as I was informed by Leena their head chef had gone back home due to co-vid & hence quite a lot of from their exhaustive menu was not available. 
Special mention to Ganesh who is at your service 24x7. Helpful & attentive.
Rooms are big, Bathrooms are great & the shower are open to sky which sounded odd when i heard of it but is an experience to cherish for all the right reasons.
If anything, their museum-esque hall could do with an AC. During noon when it gets hot, the hall does get a bit humid & come summer it would be pretty uncomfortable.
Hence, an AC would definitely help to add to the comfort of the stay.
Their kitchen is fully loaded. Fridge, Electric Hob, Oven, Coffee maker, you name it they have it & right from the top draw.
    I can go on raving about the property & pleasant stay I have had with my family. We were two couples with a kid each. The pool was our go to place, its not too deep, not too big, perfect for 4 adults  all in all i have loved every bit of my stay in Mango Beach House. Its the kind of relaxing trip where you do nothing & just soak in the ambience & enjoy the beautiful property built with care & love by Leena.
Highly recommended!!!!

Warmth of host & Eclectic architectural taste of the property transports you to a different world

On our visit to this lovely little place at Kihim, we were immediately checked in the our rooms facing the pool. The pool is very clean. The rooms are also decently clean. The food is delicious. The owners are a couple from South Bombay. They are very warm and friendliness towards the guests. It’s at a few minutes walkable distance from the beach. The staff were courteous and accommodated our every need. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Perfect location, beautiful setup

Great athmosphere! A nice clean blue pool and 2 minutes only to the beach!

I enjoyed the peace and quiet. The rooms are spacious and clean, the staff was excellent and so was the food.
