Hotel Vipul Palace

I had recently booked this hotel for me and my Family as we are visiting vaishno devi. It had been a wonderful experience for us with an extremely comfortable stay. The hotel is very close to the Katra Railway station but far from Katra Market. They also offer free pick up and drop facilities to their guests which is a very welcome move. 
I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vaishno devi/katra.

Good Hotel for Family

Pros:
- big rooms with option of two double beds
- not expensive
- ok location, all key landmarks are with in 10-15 mins drive
- food option available

Cons:
- bad room service, one of the room geyserhad issues but we had to follow up a number of times for hot water
- no lift
- food service is slow, so please order in advace
- reception was not very friendly

This is a good hotel having good rooms at an affordable price.Location is good.They also have pick and drop facility at the entrance gate of Maa Vaishnodevii.e. Banganga. How ever they are a bit reluctant if you are less than 4 or 5 members in number.

Vipul Palace hotel was the worst ever hotel we ever stayed in our entire life. Extremely delayed room service, took 5 calls to reception and one hour to get just 1 cup morning tea, Dirty bedsheets, smelly & dirty Bathroom, Unclean almira, No Power Backup, there was no electricity for as good as 2 hours while we woke up in morning and had to get ready in a dark room with no light or fan, forget about using AC while we took AC room, we couldn't even use the fan and were sweating in summer season.

On complaining about the poor service being provided at the hotel and no proper and timely response, the owner started fighting severely and shouted to leave the hotel stating this is how our service is and it's not my fault as an owner to ensure proper services to customers. The matter reached at level to have called the police. 

Would say that the owner was truly "Badtamiz". Totally mannerless person, didn't know how to talk politely or how to talk to a woman at all.

Would not recommend anyone to ever stay at this hotel. Worst worst worst of all hotels. They should close their hotel and sit at home if they can't give service to customers and talk politely. It's a crime to fight with a customer on lapse of their own service issues that too being in a service industry.

Worst Hotel ever stayed at in our entire life !

I am staying in the hotel and I can't believe that despite of booking for 2 days the guy from reception called and said that we have to checkout now at 12:00 on second day as they are expecting a group...Really surprising...Other bad things are housekeeping...Rooms are not clean as hair is found on the bed..They do not clean the room until and unless you specially asked for..

Worst hotel ever

Unhygienic rooms, towels, bed sheets and toilet... Staff not cooperate .... slow room service, no power backup, cockroaches found in rooms, I personally advise to all of you. Do not waste your money and time.

Third class Hotel total waste of money

Minus rating is not available i am giving 1 star 
Insect , croakaches , and other reptile is in the room. Room cleaning is dirty, even infrastructure is not good . Facilities are not provided as per price. 
Highly recomended do not book room and not stay here.

Don't Choose This, wastage of Money and Tension for Mind, Dirty Place with Careless Staff and Services , You may find  a better service providing Hotel in Rs 500 but without breakfast ( Don't fell in their trap of FREE BREAKFAST)
