The reason we booked this resort is it offers private plunge pool and also it is pet friendly. 

we stayed there for 1 and half day . resort is undergoing renovation so not much to do yet. 
badminton bats were broken. 
there is Sai baba temple inside the resort and there is one common swimming pool too. 
restaurant is not yet operational but food is served in the room. 
Food taste is good but breakfast items were not upto the mark. 
onion pakoda's were very tasty. 
overall good for one /two night stay.

Room with private pool and Pet friendly

We had a family function at a farm next to Sadanand farms and due to lack of rooms in that farm, we booked additional rooms at Sadanand. Here’s everything that went wrong:
1. We made the booking a week in advance and paid 50% advance for 3 semi deluxe rooms for 2 nights. On the day my guests are checking in, the manager, Akshay calls me up to say that only two rooms are available for 2 nights. He finally managed to accommodate my guests and we also booked an additional room for additional guests.
2. My guests were checking out on Sunday morning and the balance was to be settled by me. I was facing connectivity issues due to which I could not make a GPay transfer immediately and asked Akshay for 15 minutes to go to an area with network and transfer. He knew where I was staying, 5 minutes away from the property and yet he chose to hold my guests back till I cleared the payment. Prior to this, all payments were being made promptly without question, but I wasn’t given a 15 minute leeway for this one. They let my guests go only after I made someone else who had signal transfer the balance.
3. When I asked for the picture of the QR code transferring the balance amount, the manager gave me a phone number. It appears that this is his personal Google pay account and not that of the property. I’m not sure if this is an operational matter or an outright case of siphoning.
4. Despite this whole situation which I would honestly consider akin to extortion, I wasn’t given a bill about 4 hours, and I only got it after I sent reminders.
5. We had looked at a bunch of hotels / farm stays in the area and while the room rates at Sadanand are comparable to those around, the charges for additional persons are exorbitant. They charge 1500 rs for an additional person while the other hotels / farm stays around are charging in the range of 300-700 rs

Horrible experience

The place is right on the main road. Parking is open and on unpaved ground. The delux room is what we took and its decent. The flooring isn't tile so you won't feel cold. The bath was good too. The problem we faced was with the room service. The room was supposed to be ready but the bath didn't have towels, nor hand towels. There's no kettle in the delux room, not sure about the other category. The pics on booking sites like mmt are of the other category of rooms which are bigger and fronted by a lawn. The outside seating area for each room is decent but seperated by a bamboo partition only which means there's no auditory privacy if your neighbours are noisy. If your neighbours are noisy or if there's someone in the corridor, you'll hear it. Also one side's sitout only faces a wall, not sure what the other side and other class of rooms face. The Morbe dam is nearby by car, but a better way (pandemic restrictions have it shut i believe) is to go around back to the lake via a village. Due to the restaurant being under renovation all food was delivered to the room. The lunch items were just okay. Dinner was better, but nothing to write home about. None of the staff had any masks on and that was a concern. Overall not worth the 4-5k asking price for the delux room. Small wardrobe with light, enough for a couple of days. A couple of kms away is ND's film studio.

Expensive. Not value for money

Would never visit again and not recommend to anyone despite the convenient location and greenery around. Clumsy and suffocating rooms, unmaintained AC, unclean toilets, smelling bedsheets and blankets. Staff isn't rude, but is also not trained to cater well to guests, and looks like management does not care for anything except collect full payment in advance. Dirty swimming pool, perhaps not cleaned for months, except staff adding chlorine power once a day. Food is pathetic, they seem to keep serving the same stale food repeatedly. There is nothing "High" in the so called high tea they include in the package. Tea is available in the smallest possible size paper cup, and some Marie biscuits were reluctantly served only after we asked for something with tea.

I have been to many resorts in Karjat before but none of them as bad as this one. Stay away unless you want to waste your time, money and most importantly a picnic experience.

Total waste of time and money

The photographs put up might be a few years old. Right now the place has become very shoddy and pathetic. The staff tries their best to help but the infrastructure sucks. Don't get impressed by the pics
