Very very helpful staff, good food and great stay. Must visit place if you're in Jaisalmer. The host is very helpful and ensure all amenities are provided with. 
Jeep Safari, Camel Safari, Cultural programme is a must. 
Safety isn't an issue, safe for family also

Best tent stay. The service is very good. Every member of the  staff is very friendly and helpful. Our package included camel ride and cultural event. Both the activities were well organised. The tents are very well maintained.
Food is very tasty and homely.

Perfect place to enjoy with your friends and family, and the stars from this place is very good you can also see Milky Way in August to September, I was with my friends and my core memory was enjoying start gazing @2:00AM between sand dunes also it’s near by to all the major activities in Jaisalmer recommending 100% to you all

The best place for stay in the calm and pleasant desert environment and you get to enjoy star gazing, desert safari, camel riding, ATV, etc. Away from the stressful city life get a overwhelming experience of nature’s true pleasure and enjoy your best time with family and friends.

If you ever feel apprehensive about staying in a tent in the desert, I would recommend a visit to Winds Desert Camp. The tents are so prettily designed with Rajasthani block print fabric (even the bathroom), and wooden furniture. Apart from the decor, the beds are very comfortable , the bathroom is well designed and large sized. We had a great experience - there was a performance from the local Langa musicians in the camp. Apart from the beautiful music, the whole ambience of the set up - under the sky, sitting on the floor, being served drinks and snacks by the barmen was a near divine experience. The food is freshly cooked, bursting with flavour. The staff go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. All in all, a memorable stay.

Our 2 nights stay at Jaisalmer Winds Desert Camp in dec 2024 was an outstanding experience to relish on for a long time. The service & behavior of all the staff was so prompt & polite. Tent was clean & comfortable. All the foods both in breakfast and dinner were too tasty to stop eating. There was a nice cultural programme with snacks & drinks in evening as well. I feel go there again. The overall hospitality of the camp was more than value for money. Strongly recommend.

Excellent holidays at Winds camp, lovely helpful staff. We arrived here and staff were ready to greet and take luggage to room. Straight evening camel safari was organised to look at beautiful sunset. 

On return we had tea and straight ready to go for starters where we experienced superb regional performances. This was one of the best shot.

Dinner breakfast all good and staff are very helpful. Manager is always around to check all going well. All in all a superb holidays

The camp is located at a distance of 40 kms from Jaisalmer and is easy to drive to and locate. Our tent was sturdy and spacious and the bathroom was well maintained and extremely clean, as was the linen and the bed sheets. This came as a pleasant surprise to us because we didn't expect a camp to have such high levels of hygiene and cleanliness. Food was extremely appetising. The Chef prepared a delicious Rajasthani style dry chicken dish using minimal masalas and oil. The camp organised a desert jeep safari (paid for separately)  and a camel safari (built into the package), both of which were fun. Evening was spent around the bonfire watching a Rajasthani song and dance performance. Right from the time of check in to check out, Mr. Rahul, Mr.Kuldeep and their team were attentive to our needs ensuring great service. All in all, a highly enjoyable and relaxing stay

Excellent service by the staff, delicious food, worth an experience!

This is a somewhat upgraded camping experience, so don’t expect the tents to be like a 5-star hotel; the accommodations are clean and comfortable. 

Very happy with the service and attention the staff provided. The accommodation in on-suite tents was as good as the hotel suites we have stayed in. Our desert adventure into the dunes to watch the sunset was unforgettable. Meals are great and entertainment was enjoyable with drinks and nibbles before dinner.

This in all was an acceptable trip i.e. good..ish value for money.
We were welcomed at the main reception. The guys spoke good English and were very respectable to all guests. Once booked in, they had a team of young men to take your luggage to your allocated room. The room was clean and tidy. Had a little porch, then through to the main living/sleeping area, then into the bathroom. Had equipment to store your clothing. In the evening, they had drinks and dancing girls. The meal was a buffet, meat and vegetarian. The trip out in the evening to view the sunset was okay. A short trip via minibus then a trip via camel to the sandy area. Views were very good. You can't really spend more than a day (over-night). Overall, worth doing once.

Five stars for Winds desert camp jaisalmer

We stayed here for a camel ride to see the sun-set. I wasn't sure what to expect at this location. However, was a little surprised on arrival. 
The main reception staff where very friendly and the office was very clean.
We had a couple of young boys carry our luggage to our tent (room). was a fair size with a wardrobe, bedside cabinets. Had a separate bathroom. Okay it wasn't comparable to a 4/5 star hotel, however, it was very clean and tidy.
There was live entertainment in the evening, with a couple of dance girls. They provide light snacks during the entertainment. The evening meal was a buffet type with included, both, veg and none-veg.
Breakfast was traditional Indian however, you could order omelette to your own preference. On the whole a very good experience

Review of Winds Desert Camp

Overall a good stay in the camp run by hard working folks. 

Location - About 32km from Jaisalmer (JSM)  without any camps nearby. Quiet and relaxing. The google maps location is accurate. Taxis will charge around 1500kms for a one way drop or offer to do a round trip for 2500, which will include a side trip to a deserted town of Kuldhara (skippable). The camp itself is not close by to the dunes but on a sandy patch. The dunes are some distance away. Plan your arrival to between 3-4pm. Before that - nothing much to do; and probably too hot as well (depending on the time of the year). Spend your time in JSM instead. 

Food - it was quite tasty. They accommodated our vegan food request with a smile. They also have many vegetarian choices as well. Range was quite fine - as you would expect in a desert camp. They might whip you up some custom food if you have specific food requirements. 

The entertainment (Rajasthani music and dance) and in the evening was also quite good and relaxing under open skies. They also serve alcohol (basic choices), and finger foods during the show.

The one wrinkle was the tent itself - the one initially assigned to us - 101 was very smelly. They managed to find an alternate - 122, which a bit older, worked out ok. The sheets in the first tent were also stained. So pls inspect and ask for any changes - which they will accommodate with a smile. The AC cooled down the tent within 10mins on an October evening. 

They also take you out on a desert safari - a car ride for about 6kms and then go not the camels for a 10min walk onto the dunes where you will spend about about 30mins watching the sunset. This was an amazing experience and the highlight of the trip. 

Service - Mr Bana and his staff do a good job on this front. Good team! 

All in all a good experience.

Desert treat

I had the best stay here. Staff was so helpful and polite. Food was super tasty with lots of variety. Tent was neat and clean with all the facilities. Safari was awesome and most importantly people here were ready to help with anything. They even provided room heater to us on request. Just book this camp and you will not regret it
