I have organized a b'day party of my 2yr old daughter at hotel sunview guwahati.the manager and the hotel staff did every possible thing to make the event a really successful one..all my guest loved the food and...the service too was excellent.the staff were really very helpful and cordial.they helped me with every single thing I was asking for...and the decoration too was wonderful...overall I had a phenomenal experience at hotel sunview...so I would like to thank the manager and the hotel staff for making the event a grand success.

Our stay was brief in Guwahati. It is an average hotel, rooms are moderate but clean. Good for overnight stay only. It is in Dispur. Number of ATMs are near it, and we prefer to have some cash with us in the journey. It is also wise to keep some snacks  etc. handy in the journey, which we have collected from here.

BUDGET HOTEL

We stayed in Sunview Guwahati on June, and whole we checked in we asked for breakfast at 7:30 as we need to check out in the morning. But, while morning we enquired, the breakfast was not ready and they said they cant even make it ready by 8:30 as they were hosting a marriage party yesterday night. 

And while we checked out they said they accept in cash only eventhough they had the card swiping machines. They said they won't accept card payments from tourists. 

We went out and took cash from ATM and left afrom the hell.

Absolute waste of money

hotel for the night of 27th Oct 2018 through Devlok travels in Kolkata and paid the total amount months before. Today while returning from Tezpur, Assam to Guwahati they said that they have cancelled our room booking for no reason without informing us. Not only that they have misbehaved shouting that they have done it and asked us to leave. The car driver dropped our luggage on the hotel premise and left. The manager contacted Devlok and fixed a lodge nearby, Himalaya lodge. The rooms were just 900/ and 999/ for double and triple beds. I booked it through booking.com instantly to have a look. I am attaching the voucher of Devlok travels whom I paid the total amount. Both of them are fraud and don't believe on them as they have cheated us with no reason. Before the tour I called SunView hotel and they clarified that the total amount is already paid. Unethically unprofessionally without contacting us cancelled our booking without returning the money. We checked and found that there are rooms available both in Himalaya lodge and in Sun view hotel. Himalaya lodge didn't give the voucher but the photo of the entry is attached herewith. We as travellers are traveling through out different states of India, countries of europe Australia newzealand and Asia but didn't face this type of behavior.

Misbehavior of the hotel management

Poor is an overstated word for the hotel... It's pathetic to the core..I had my engagement ceremony in the hotel n have a horror story to say...first of all the hotel was even clean when the guests arrived..they were sweeping right in front of the guest..n dan the food quality specially the mutton n fish were uncooked n no taste at all..the manager Mr. Raju Das had promised many things but failed on all of that...even the bridal suite was told to be complimentary but was charged later on..in terms of service the waiters were worthless n the guestz were just helping themselves...there was no one to even clean the dirty tables after one batch of guests was done...Needless to say holding the engagement ceremony there was worst decision of my life.
.they are not equipped n trained to serve a mere 100 people also... So guys pls don't even think of spending money n wasting at the hotel..it was an embarrassing situation both for me n my family...

Horrible experience in my engagement day function

Very bad experience. We stayed here for one night with 5 members room was not clean, staff was not coperative even the style of interaction was very bad , food served in breakfast was below average. I will not recommend anybody to stay in this hotel. That's all.
