we had a warm friendly owner of aanchal estate who took great care and paid attention to any of our requirements. our stay in coorg was memorable because of their friendly nature. coorgi food in veg and non veg was awesome. estate view was great. and my daughter enjoyed with their pets too...

2 bedroom house in the middle of the Estate and near to Madikeri town. I really appreciate the hospitality from Mr Nanjappa and his Wife. Food 🍲 was good and rooms were decent. Overall, it's a memorable experience 

The place is beautiful ! We were two families with kids & had a wonderful time at this house.
Rather than going out & watching places, we preferred to stay together & have a family time.
Good coffee plantation to see as well.

Very good Homestay with a great coffee plantation.The owners(Mr Nanjappa & family) live in a cottage just adjacent to it and are very good and helpful people.

Pros:
Great coffee plantation in the Pottikere Estate.The ambiance is exceptional.
Very near to the major attractions in Madikeri like Abbey falls,Raja's Seat,Omkareshwara Temple.
Room is very clean with all basic facilities like DTH,hot water etc.

Cons:
Dont try food provided by the homestay. Its not great.
Can find some insects as it it is in the middle of a plantation.

First of all I really feel bad for reviewing this stay so late.
Amazing stay, amazing location, warm hosts, great hospitality and we have been telling all our friends and family about it since we returned from our holiday.  We were lucky enough to spend one night at before our journey back to Paris 
We were a family of 5 members, been there for a night. The homestay was a 2 bedroom stay.
The rooms are very comfortable, as are the beds. It was nice to talk to the other guests as well, while there was also enough 'room' for privacy.
Delicious dinner with many varieties at the Bonfire, couldn’t ask for more.
The coffee we were served was freshly brewed from the produce of the coffee estate.
I'm sure we will stay here again, and not make the same mistake of booking only 1 night!

Cons- Since its in estate more prone to insects.

Very good experience

This homestay is good when it comes to providing basic facilities. If you are one who like luxury n blah blah then do not opt for it. This provides basic amenities. Room is large and clean. It can easily accommodate 4 people in a room. Dinner will be provided if you ask them for the same. Breakfast is complimentary.
