The hosts at Hotel Jeet Mahal became our friends very quickly. They were ready to put in the extra effort to ensure we had the most memorable trip, that too in a budget friendly way. The location of the hotel is walking distance from the fort and all other sightseeing places. Recommend this place and the extremely trustworthy hosts!

I didnt stay at the hotel but booked the camel safari through him
Charging a mere 1200/- for the safari 
It was perfect unlike many people who scam you around jaisalmer was the hotel i was staying which told me 4500/- !!
I came back from the safari in the morning and i had returned to this hotel and as i checked out from the hotel i was staying
and found out later that i lost my atm card the same day
I had to leave at 9pm the same day the safari ended
So he let me stay there till 9
Use the wifi and told me to chill 
Helped me transfer money by giving me his account number.

I was attracted by the cheap price for an overnight camel desert safari adertised outside the hotel. Knowing that most companies charge at least 1/3 more, I checked tripadvisor and came across some bad negative reviews. Nevertheless, speaking to the owner gave me a good impression and I decided to give it a chance. When it turned out that I was the only one wanting to go that day, he went out of his way to find another group I could join. He picked me up and dropped me off at my guest house several times (bear in mind that I was not staying in his hotel) for free. He also arranged my onward train travels and was generally a pleasant, honest, direct person to talk to which is of immense value in Jaisalmer. So please, don't overrate the negative reviews. I think there might have been wrong expectations, miscommunication etc. I was more than happy with the service!

Hotel Jeet Mahal is very nearest to Jaisalmer fort, Salem Singh haveli, nathmal ji ki haveli and mai market. Staff is nice and friendly.
It's very good in affordable budget. Feel like staying in mahal of Rajwada.
Must stay in this hotel if you are looking a value for money hotel.

Very friendly staff, both the building and the room are beautiful, clean and cheap too! Highly recommend drinking a chai tea on the roof while looking over the city. Location is great, in the center next to the fort.

Excellently placed   and  great views of the fort from the very pleasant roof top  dinning room. Rooms very adequate and fairly priced. Manager Ali and his friendly  team make you feel very welcome and provided tasty food  at any time again.

We, 6 people in our family went to visit Jaisalmer for 2days....We stayed here....Rooms were clean...The hotel is very near to golden fort area...The fort pictures are taken from the roof top....

From the arriving of us in the Jaisalmer station, the hospitality and good behaviour of the stuffs amazed us....In early morning there was a stuff to receive us in the station...after that we go to hotel and again surprised to see that the hotel room is just like the rooms of a fort....The behaviour of owner is amazing...so polite and so much kind hearted...One of our team members( my mother) was getting little ill and could not be able to avail camel safari...Thats why we requested him to go with us in desert camp...The owner went with us and guided us all the time...and moreover, when we, rest 5 people went for camel safari, he took care of our ill family member...From 2 p.m. to 10p.m. he was with us all the time and took care of us all...just amazing......There was 3 stuffs...all are very good...Among them I would like to mention the name of SALIM KHAN, little boy and very polite behaviour...Salim called Auto for us at about 11 pm...Because our return train was at 12:45 am....

But  the food was little bit costly....Though we have got, whatever our wish...((like bengali food Begun pora, alu vate, musur dal, begun vaja))...Infect the cook gave us permission to cook according to our wish in his kitchen......The cook addressed our male members "VAIJII" with his smiling face all the time.....It was unforgettable...

For their hospitality this small demerit is ignorable....Thank you Jeet mahal and thank you the owner( I cant recollect his name now) for making our stay enjoyable....Best wish for you all.....

Beautiful and affordable hotel

We booked the camel safari just last week for 1 night. We were very carefully asking the owner abt the insects, mosquetoes so we can prepare ourself and he said "theres no mosquetoes in the desert". Turned out there was tons of mosquetoes and i could not sleep whole night. My boyfriend still have bites on his head after few days. Moreover, we asked how many people in the trip, the owner said 5 more (including girls and boy). Turns out there was only 5 people but only me and my boyfriend would stay overnight in the desert. Then there was only me - the only woman there with my boyfriend and 4-5 local men! I had to ask my boyfriend to ask the camel guy to go back or join with other group and lucky me that finally, we joined with 3 girls and 1 man but in another campany. The camel guy asked his friend from another campany to help!!! DONT BOOK CAMEL TOUR WITH THIS HOTEL. THE OWNER IS SUCH A DISHONEST PERSON!! Btw, the food they served us was very... poor!
