Had a nice and comfortable stay. Renovation was going on when we visited in December. Rooms are very good and service is also very good. Very close to Railway station and parthasarathy temple. They have  a restaurant adjacent to the hotel which serves good Indian food

Comfortable stay, well clean and maintained. Friendly staffs from frond desk. All Precautions were taken consedering the current covid situation. Cleanliness and hygiene maintained all the places. Again will come september.

This government property is comparable to any good 3 star hotel and better.Location walking distance to Guruvayoor temple and railway station.All the other places are also close by.Parking place huge for ample cars no problem.Rooms are spacious with brand new split AC and large TV.Restaurant is also very good and cheap.Nice friendly staff.Overall excellent stay.

Eventhough appearance is old, a royal,a cool atmosphere for stay ,while on a pilgrimage,,enjoying the Bhagavat Darsan along with good food and calm atmosphere.Mr Sujithkumar,Manager,gives a warm welcome,which is sufficient for removing,our tiredness of a long travel,Ofcourse his team also.

I visited the Gurvayoor temple along with my family and stayed at KTDC Nandanam during the trip. 

Some pros are: 
1. The hotel is nice with comfortable rooms. 
2. The staff is cooperative and available on short notice. 
3. It has a decent restaurant where breakfast, lunch and dinner are available at their respective times. 
4. Finally, it is at a walkable distance from the temple.  

Some cons are: 
1. The tea available via room service was bad and we had to throw it away. 
2. The path from the main entrance to the hotel lobby is badly constructed. One needs to be careful if walking at night or has kids. 
3. Although the hotel has power backup, there are frequent power cuts. 

Overall, I would recommend the hotel.

We stayed (10 / 11th Jan 20) and had foods at this hotel. We came here in connection with my sons marriage. A clean place, excellent service with good food. Good location little away from crowded place. Overall we had a good experience. But still they can improve and make it a memorable place to live and dine.

Stayed here for one night. We chose normal AC room. Everything was perfect - AC, water heater, well maintained and clean bathroom. Price also nominal. Very nearby to station, bus stand and temple. 10 mins walkable distance to temple. Staffs were also friendly. On the whole very well maintained government hotel. Go for it!

We had booked a premium double delux room and stayed here from 24th to 26th March, 2019. The people at reception were very impressive, always smiling and helping us. The room was spacious, clean, good view. Facilities offered were excellent except for food for shich we had to go their nearby restaurant about one minute walk.Check in and check out were quick. We enjoyed our stay here and we recommend this hotel to trevellers.

Pictures shown in website are very old. Location is good very close to Guruvayur temple east gate. Rooms are spacious with hot water geyser . Lobby  neat and spacious . Campus very spacious .Very old building with old amenities .Entire hotel needs renovation. Location is very close to temple.Path way to hotel is pot holes ridden. Construction work going on in the campus..

Average hotel close to Guruvayur temple

We stayed with family for two nights in first week of Aug 2019. Ample Car parking and check in was quick. complete lack of maintenance seen everywhere. Cleanliness needs lot of attention. Dirty mattresses,towels and list goes on every bit of the property.

Restaurant is not attached and needs a couple of minutes of walk. They had limited varieties and most important they don't serve any typical Keralite breakfast varieties like appam etc.

The only advantage is its close proximity to railway station and nothing else.
