Hotel Gnr Palace

It is exactly on the opposite side of the road as you come out of the Guntur railway station from the Arundelpet side. There have a lift and rooms are neat and clean. There is no restaurant attached but good hotels like Shankar vilas, Geetha cafe are nearby. 

I booked a standard room in GNR Palace last week (16th April) in the middle of summer and to my surprise the Room was very neat and clean. They had Hot water, AC, Room Service, TV, Wifi etc. The staff was very professional and they also have a travel desk to travel to nearby places. It is just a walking distance from Guntur Railway station. Their in-house restaurant is not up to the mark (i.e. very limited options to choose from) but other than that everything else is great. I stayed there for 1 day and really liked the experience.

Very nice Hotel and Amicable staff

Centrally located

A hotel is in heart of the city and opposite to railway station so it's very noisy. The rooms on road side very very noisy so avoid road side rooms. Another major problem car parking, literally hotel doesn't have car parking slots and they are least bother. The hotel is good for business people who wants to stay in heart of the city for business purpose. The rooms are neat but service is not good. I was pretty much disappointed by the hotel staff, I have booked 2 rooms for 4 people through MakeMyTrip for 16th Feb 2017 and Check In Time was 12 Noon IST and I have called them told them that I am late will check in around 8 PM but when I went at 8 PM they have given me one min suite room and asked me to adjust with 4 people, But when I didn't agree they have given us 2 rooms at 12 in the midnight that too after repeated serious following.

One Day Stay Hotel

Not A Palace, ONLY A ­PLACE TO STAY. The ho­tel charges more for ­less service but with­ poor design and amen­ities. See the photo ­attached where the TV­ is fixed namesake on­ one side without min­ding the guest's comf­ort in using it. More­over, the maintenance­ is poor as the other­ photo shows the brok­en closet seat cover ­lying inside the toil­et. Not even packed d­rinking water is prov­ided and no complimen­tary dining also whic­h is a regular featur­e of many of the good­ hotel.

Moreover , we find th­e hotel is more parti­cular in making money­ rather than the comf­ort of the guest. Tho­ugh booked Comfort ro­om by making full pay­ment, another room ( ­Deluxe type) was allo­tted when landed ther­e. The next day, the ­management suddenly i­nsisted for shifting ­to the type I booked.­ Similar practice ado­pted for other occupa­nts also. 



Highly priced facility

Had been to this hotel. Its very near to Arundaelepet railway station. Complimentary breakfast provided which is too good.Overall good for one night or two. Rooms are small but they have very good infrastructure.
