We stayed in Sun n Snow Pahalgam for 02 nights with friends. Starting from check in everything was smooth. Amazing experience superb hospitality and friendly staff. Special thanks to Naseer & Jahageer bhai for such a amazing experience

Superb

Situated midst the breathtaking views this hotel is not very good place to stay in.Even though the staff was very courteous and helpful , the hotel itself lacked basic cleanliness.The rooms were dingy and had a foul smell.Even the blankets and pillows smelled.The dining area did not seem very hygienic.Stay here only if you absolutely need to.Also, do not stay here if you have elderly couples as the way upto the hotel is very steep a d no vehicle can go uptil there- esp in winters.
One of the two positive things about this hotel was the breathtaking view around it.We stepped right onto the snow covered hills and couldn’t help but be mesmerised by it.Also, simply loved the honesty of the hotel manager & staff.

This time I’m at sun and snow in Gulmarg while writing this review, kindly avoid this hotel because 
1. Worst arrangements 
2. Remotely located 
3. Non cooperative staff 
4. Foul smell in bedding and rooms

Worst hotel to stay

One of the worst hotel in Gulmarg. No proper service only 3 person handling the hotel with only 6 rooms no management. Even you don't get washed bedsheet, towel or blankets. No one is present to take your complain once you come here you are on the mercy of the 3 person handling the hotel. Owner number is also wrong on Google. All amenities mentioned in this are either not working or they do not want to provide. Even for hot water you need to ask them again and again.

One of the Worst hotel in Gulmarg. Do not visit.

We stayed for a day in pendamic situation and wore only ones to stay in the hotel . Location wise it's far from Main Market and Steep Climb to go up the resort . Not recommended for Senior citizens and family at all also Hotel not maintained well and food is expensive and below average quality. Service was good , views are amazing specially on hill top of Hotel good for couples and youngsters not recommended for Families and Senior citizens for remote location and steep Climb.

Good View But Remotely Location Not Maintained at All

I have been to the valley for 6 times, I never stayed overnight in Gulmarg(Which I regret now). Stayed here for 2 nights on 6th & 7th June. Before visiting this hotel I went to a nearby hotel which I had researched & finalized to stay in Gulmarg, after seeing the hotel (it’s a well-known hotel in Gulmarg), I found it to be below average compared to the price. Luckily our driver Mr. Arif Malik (Mob Number: 9906752408) showed us Hotel Sun & Snow. As I wanted to get the best in terms of Room, Service, Location & Price, I visited 3 more famous hotels nearby. Finally I found Hotel Sun & Snow to be the best in terms of location amongst all. I told my driver to convey the hotel staff that I won’t compromise in terms of room facility and service, we were assured that all the things will be taken care of without any issues.
The view from the lawn where we use to have our evening and morning tea was at its best and will be in my memory for a long time. Staying here was the right decision.

The room was spacious
Bed had heating blanket & a blower
Hot water was available 24 X 7
Food was amazing
Location was fantastic
No Electricity Issues
Service was good
Price is nothing compared to the location & service

Cons:
The cloth hanger behind the door of wash room is a bit on the higher end

Best hotel very good staff & fantastic location food was also very good I want to go again & again but entrance slop was difficult for senior citizen cable car stop was so near to hotel facilities was also good owner was very nice

Review of hotel but

Stayed at Hotel Sun n Snow in the last week of April 20018. This hotel is located near the golf course and a perfect location if your are looking for solitude. The hotel has total 5-6 rooms, so won't be crowded at all. You can also take a walk to the Gondola ride which is just about 1.5 k.m. The trail is through the golf course.  The manager Aamir was helpful and friendly. He also arranged authentic Kashmiri food for dinner. Overall a nice experience in the hotel.

Stayed at Hotel Sun & Snow, near golf course(this hotel has two branches). The attendants were very heart warming. Made delicious food for us. Provided us with each and everything we needed. Overall nice hotel with good amenities and committed staff.
