Resort The Journeys, Dooars

If you are planning to have a trip in dooars then this hotel can be your home away from home. I have been in this hotel from 2nd October to 6th October, 2016. The rooms are clean and specious. Attached toilets are well equipped with western style accessories. The towels are clean. Every room has a small balcony from where you can see the nearby tea gardens and a range of mountains. The hotel itself has a beautiful garden with some joy rides for children. One more thing you will notice in here are various species of birds. The manager and the hotel staffs are very friendly and always ready to help with a smile. The in-hotel restaurant is fairly priced and the food quality and taste is very good. You can also opt for package tour as they offer that facility. Else you can ask them to arrange the cars for jungle safari. They will arrange the govt safari cars which will pick you up right from the doorstep of the hotel. The location of the hotel is very intriguing. It is located right beside Chapramari forest and Garumara National Park. Murti river is just a walking distance from the hotel. You can also opt for local toto rides, which will cost 10/- per head to reach to murti river. Overall, I have nothing negative to say about this hotel. My stay in there is comfortable and memorable.
