Very awesome offbeat property. River view and river deck are amazing to chill at. Log rooms balcony offers an awesome view. A great escape for people looking to spend quality time to relax. The staff and hospitality is top notch. Amazing place to visit.

Excellent experience, entire surrounding is amazing and completely natural, coffee garden along with other trees, flowers everything looks very good.
   Foods are very heigenic and tasty as per orders, cleanliness is fantastic 
 Fire camp, trecking is totally enjoyable and nice 
  About the Management and staff including cleaning staffs there is no words all are behaving like family members friendly and obedient 
    Totally it is peaceful place, according to name SHANTHI KUNJ 
definitely one can experience shanthi here.

Visited Shanthi Kunnj along with family from 12th to 15th May. Stay was excellent. Stayed in Log house. Rooms were big and clean. It's in the amidst of nature. Food was excellent. All are very friendly, specially Ganesh and Hasan. Perfect place for family vacation. Would like to visit again.

Great getaway experience! Very clean, well maintained, with reasonable amenities. Excellent hospitality (special mention for Ganesh and Yogesh at restaurant). Cons: bad access 
(adventure if you will!); isolation (both pro and con); food is pricey.

Over all the stay was good. If you need to spend time with family out of work time this is the place 

Staffs are very cooperative.  This is the unique place and there are no sightseeing near by. But you have everything inside the resort. 

The temperature controlled swimming pool is awesome.  Don’t miss that. 

The great part is food. Chef is very good and he can make any kind of cuisine

Great location in the midst of coffee plantation overlooking Bhadra river..Staff- especially Pradeep and team are very polite and extremely service oriented..  We had  a pleasant stay with good food and hospitality.

Our holiday in Shanti Kunnj was really the most memorable one, all the facilities are like a 5 star resort. The location, amenities and food are amazing. The hospitality displayed by the staff is extremely impressive. Gautham and his team Pradeep, Vincent, Vinod, Ganesh, Hasan and others were really helpful from booking to checkout. We would like to recommend it to others and would definitely would visit there again. Special mention the food was lip smacking. 
The Chef and his team were really courteous to speak to the guest and cook according to the choice of the guest. A big hats off 🙏🙏 to the courtesy Shanti Kunnj 

We were a group of 8 office colleagues who visited Shanthi Kunnj in September 23 after their re-opening of their renovated property. Warm and courteous staff welcomed us right from the entrance, at the reception and throughout the property.  Welcoming the guests the traditional way of holding a tali and applying tika on the forehead at the reception gave a good vibe of the property from the start.  Temperature controlled swimming pool, inhouse restaurant serving delicious authentic  Chinese cuisine, continental and local dishes, Eco friendly cottages with luxury facilities for the guests to enjoy, boating and trekking/nature walk near the property were the highlights of this property that one cannot miss to experience. 

 I must say that Shanthi Kunnj has elevated itself to a resort category.  It is a must visit to every traveller visiting Chikmagalur.  

Nice property surrounded by lush green coffee plantations (within the property as well). Rooms were neat and clean. Temp controlled swimming pool was good, so was the indoor activities room. Mr Pradeep and rest of the staff were very welcoming and courteous.

Can improve on the food services. Only their buffet option is available which is quite costlier if you should have 2 meals there. No ala carte or room service for food available which is a concern

Fantastic place to be one with nature and yourself. Bhadra river meanders right along the river property which is set amidst a coffee plantation. location scores a perfect 5/5.
Hosts were equally courteous and the food was great with local cuisines included . plantation walk and riverside walk are enjoyable .great for family stay but i recommend a 2 day stay to savour the delight of lazing around in a cozy place like this!

Shanthi at SHANTHI KUNJ

My family and I had an amazing time at Shanti Kunj! The lush surroundings and beautiful river view made for a perfect getaway. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring our every need was met. Complementary breakfast was excellent. Boating was cancelled due to rain - however we enjoyed swimming pool and indoor games.

Couple stay at Shanti Kunj

The homestay is at the banks of Bhadra River . We stayed in the glass house and the view from the balcony was amazing. Its a very peaceful and quiet place. The last 500 metres to the resort is a proper off road which i enjoyed the most ( could finally use the dual purpose tyres on my motorcycle) .
One thing i would like the management to look into is the food. it was pretty average.

Fantastic Place

The homestay is situated in the bank of Bhadra river stream. So it's peaceful and the cottages are built adjacent to the farm - Coffee, betel nuts etc. Rooms are nice, clean and well maintained. Food I would say was average. 
Overall if you are looking for a quiet weekend to spend quality time this place to me is value for the money.

Weekend Destination - Spend in peace

This is an amazing place for someone looking for a nature retreat. The place is 40 km away from Chikmagalur town and there is no transport available. So you have to use your own vehicle. The place has is a coffee plantation with river flowing on the side. You can hear birds and insects chirping all the time, even you can hear the flow of river. There are mosquitoes, so one must carry a mosquito repellant. the place is very dense with greenery and very beautiful homes. I stayed at mud house and it was very nice. The food was little expensive otherwise amazing experience.
