At First we never expected that we will have a great staying experience but once we went there it was unbelievable. The place is awesome. Instead of visiting places around chikamagalore we ended up staying in the home stay. The Home stay has a beautiful Background view and is surrounded by coffee Estates. The Best Part is that there is no mobile network and gives you wonderful time for yourself. 
Rooms are Huge and Clean. Food is just amazing. 

Overall; the home stay has given us a very good and memorable experience at low price. :-)

This place is really good if you with a right expectation. It is NOT a hotel. It is a Service apartment.

Firstly I would like to write that there is quite a confusion between Coffee County Stay and Coffee County Homestay. This review and the listed hotel on Tripadvisor is for Coffee County Stay. 

Location - Coffee County Stays is in the mid of the town. Hardly 500m from the KSRTC bus stand. It has many restaurants around it. If you are facing a problem in locating this place on maps, search for Giri Inn which is exactly opposite to Coffee County Stays. 

Rooms - This is just above a shopping complex. We had occupied 2 rooms, 1BHK each on the 6th floor. It is NOT a hotel. It is a Service apt. There is no reception desk here but the staff stays in the same building and is very prompt in responding to the guest queries or attending them personally. The view from the balcony is amazing. The best part of this place is it gives you a home-like feel. The room is filled with beautiful breeze all the time. 

Major Perk - This place is very good for families with small kids as they have provided a mini fridge and hot plate in the kitchen. It was very useful to us to store and heat milk for our kids. 

Only Problem was - TERMITES. One of the rooms had termites. Lot of them. The other rooms were neat.

Tip: Carry your own toiletries, as they provide none. 

Food - There is no restaurant of Coffee County Stays. There are some good eating outlets nearby:

For Non vegetarian - Maharaja restaurant 50 m from Coffee County Stays. 
For Vegetarian - 'Vishnu Delicacy' Watch out for Orchid Hotel across the street. This restaurant is at the ground floor. Apparently, Coffee County Stays had a tie up with Vishnu Delicacy for breakfast, when we visited there. Very good South Indian meals and breakfast. 

Sightseeing - Mullayanagiri peak is around 30 mims drive from here. Other places like Hirekolale Lake is also around 20 minutes drive.

Great service apartment, rooms are clean, neat and spacious. Kitchen has few Cutlery.
Located in the heart of the city, many restaurants can be reachable by walk. 24/7 Hot water service available.
If you want kind of privacy in the middle of the city this is the place! but if you are looking for homestay kinda facility definitely this is not.
I recommend this place for a group of 5-8.
