Enjoyed alot... The stay was awesome.. staff was gud.. food was yumm.. me and my frnds had an awesome stay in hotel chail... I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family..Next tym whenever we come.. we will probably stay in hotel monaal only... 😊😊😊

My stay at monaal was just toooo good .we enjoyed each and every moment of stay in hotel.Their service,food(special mention) was awesome.Ambiance,beauty ,services was great.I would love to visit time and again

Good cheap budget stay. warm and cosy. had gone there in the year 2000 with family and then in 2014 with then boyfriend .. was just as wonderful. 
decent stay place. got wonderful view into the woods from the windows. food is available there though mostly we chose to eat out at the dhaba down the road. 
the local bus drops you right there so its at a convenient spot. chail is a small place so everything is more or less central. 
carry warm clothes. carry walking shoes if you plan to go to the palace.

Chail is a great getaway from Delhi, Chandigarh, Haryana and surrounding plains around H.P. Though there are fewer visiting spots but person who enjoys being in hills can take a break at this place. We were two friends who randomly planned a weekend getaway, to chail. Though we only got to stay one day at this hotel that to by randomly hunting for a budget hotel on a sunday, the room we stayed in for more like a cottage staff, the people there were really courteous, humble and warm. With in the hustle bustle of the main Chail market, it is a quiet place, with an open sitting area, during the night especially it is good to sit out with a cup of tea/ wine and little to the quietness of the forest area around. One could really enjoy if one needs a break from the noisy hustle bustle of the city. I would really recommend this trip for its hospitality and quietness :)

My best vacation

I booked this hotel by a travel co. Then I go through reviews about this hotel on the net. I was satisfied that I got good hotel.

My booking was for 2 nights(13th-14 Sept 2015).

I reached there with happy mood with my family. But it couldn't last longer when we entered the room. Just have a look of their amenities:

1. Room was very smaller and pathetic than shown in images on net. 
2. Carpet and sofa was dirty and seems not cleaned since years.
3. Curtains were very cheap.

4. Pillows & bedsheet were all rubbish. They had hairs and clear food stains on those. Surely they didnt wash those instead just broomed(actually not) and put it again. We called them to change it. They make absured faces but later do it. But picture was still the same. Next sheet and pillows were in the same state. Probablly they picked it from another room.

5. Then we switched the TV on. It had no sound and signals were like worse than broadcasted in 1960. We requested them to change it too.

We blame our fate and just compromised to spend the time.

After watching this film I was not in the mood to face any adventure so preferred have our meal out in the market instead of the hotel.

However we had booking for 2 days but we left the hotel very next day in the earlier in the morning by spending only 1 night by paying the amount of 2 nights.

I didn't argue and complaint with them because that would be useless and will ruin our mood.
