Another excellent stay at Bougainvillea.  Lourenco, Leiven and the team are great.  The location is excellent, it's very peaceful and tranquil, with the new swimming pool adding a touch of class.
Nothing is a problem and Lourenco and his team are always there to help.
The guest are friendly and always seem happy.
Definitely recommend if you want a little piece of paradise, its probably why the same guest go back year after year.

Excellent Guest House

Loved this hotel. Charming flowers and a nice pool. Lourenco was easy to get in touch with and helped me book a taxi back to the airport. The room was very very clean. I would 100% stay again!

We were couple of families, with 2 kids. We stayed for more than 7 days.

The best part of the stay was the room sizes - each room has a living area and bedroom, with sitting furnitures (chairs sofa etc) with Fridge and TV. 
Rooms and Baths are clean and well maintained.
The place is 5-10mins walk to Fort Aguada, and its less crowded beach compared to others.
The host (Lorenzo and his team) are very hospitable and address all the custom needs (within reason) that one may have.

Following were not a big deal for us - but just to have realistic expectation about the place:
It is little inside - so one has to walk quite a bit if one wants to run some errands - pick up grocery.
Car parking was very tight, we had couple of SUVs it was manageable, but needed parking maneuvering. 
The Aquada beach is less crowded so that also means it is less 'happening' so it is good or ok will depend upon what you are looking for.
All places that you would want to hang out at or would want to eat at would be quite a bit of drive away.

Big rooms, great hosts, little inside, parking little tight

Our stay at the plush rooms was indeed a one of a kind experience , The rooms are huge with fantastic balcony and view , it has top of the range rooms and most comfortable , the staff are kind, warm and friendly .. One could walk down the road to reach the Lower sea fort another magnificent fort built  in the 17th century . The location of the fort and the hotel are away from the hustle bustle of city life.
One could stay back in the room and lounge around  in the  quite balcony read a book , sip a cup of tea .... The place is centrally located in North Goa ,,,I simply loved the guest house ,  I am eager to visit again ,,, Another main attraction is they serve breakfast with love , I mean it , its filling and sumptuous  .. Serene and Awesome Stay I loved it

It was a wonderful stay!  Beautiful and large rooms. Excellent customer service.  Lorenzo and team are very professional and go out of their way to make you feel at home.  The breakfast, lunch and dinners were delicious!  Definitely going to come back!

Wonderful Stay!

Travelled to Goa with my family and we stayed for 4 nights. I must say the staff is very friendly and welcoming and gave us the best service.

The rooms were spotless clean and spacious. I have stayed at many properties in Goa but this is by far the best.  The breakfast was good and healthy. 

The beach is at a walking distance which is a plus. Lourenco helped us get a rent a car so we could travel hassle free. We were even arranged a taxi back to the Airport.

Will definitely visit again. Cheers.

A gem in Goa

I don't know who gives such a good ratings to this place which actually made us fool in thinking that this is a good place, very small place, bad breakfast, damaged AC in room. Overall very bad experience.

Bad experience

My daughter and I spent 5 days at Bougainvillea Guest House and it was a great experience. The room was a one bedroom suite with separate living area. The bathroom was modern and very clean. The living area had a balcony looking out onto the tropical garden. We had a wonderful breakfast prepared each morning with either western or Indian foods, and the best masala omelets ever! Lourenco and his son arranged taxi transport, scooter rental, advised us on places to explore, and rescued our scooter when I had to leave it in town due to a medical urgency. They advised me on a chemist and the best hospital, even volunteering to drive us to the hospital in the middle of the night if needed. Bougainvillea was a very safe place for my daughter and I who were traveling alone, and walking distance to the beach, Fort Aguada, and many restaurants. I will definitely stay here again next time we travel to Sinquenim!

We have been going to Goa since 2001. To say we love staying at lourenco’s is an understatement. Went twice in 2019 end of January when we took my sister and brother in law with us and in December coming back Boxing Day wish we had stayed longer! We have been staying at the bougainvillea since it first opened. I am now having withdrawal symptoms as this year has been awful and we haven’t been able to have our Goa fix see you all in 2021 xx

The Best

Second time at the wonderful place - this time with kids. And nothing has changed....in fact, things have only got better. We again chose the Suite and it just felt as if we were back home again. Lourenco, Leivin, Freddie and the entire team did everything possible to make the stay as comfortable as possible. And of course, Mario, with the travel. The kids loved them, as we thought they would. The food, as always, was just out of this world...The team baked the most wonderful cake ever for my birthday, and that quite literally, was the icing on the cake. Some journeys are also meant to make friends, over and above the leisure, and I am so glad that we are friends with the best team there is, in India. Waiting for the third time, hopefully soon.
