Mohini Home Stay

This homestay initially ticks all the boxes for location, comfort, big rooms, lovely showers; everything you need. But above that, the family are the most kind and helpful people ever. After we checked out and spent the day exploring agra, we left our bags there all day and they allowed us to wait on the house to pass the evening until out bus time. 
The breakfast they provided was huge and so tasty (must include and ask for some of the cake). 
Made our whirlwind trip to Agra perfect.

Sanjay and Harsha are so thoughtful and fantastic hosts. I traveled with my sisters to Agra to see the Taj Mahal and we were given so much support to arrange transportation and where to go. This included a tuktuk driver for the full day of excursions around the city which was extremely helpful. The breakfast was fantastic and homemade always paired with chocolate cake at the end ❤️ The proximity to monuments/Taj/shops and the city made this a perfect accommodation. Would definitely recommend to solo/female travelers.

The place is exceptional. Free breakfast was included during our two-day stay. The hospitality received was top-gear. The rooms were quite spacious and the security of the place is without doubt top-notch. The shower had warm water for a good-day shower. The toilet was in good working condition.

The owners are very friendly, we had an excellent breakfast, perhaps the most abundant in all of India with fresh cakes made by the owner of the house who is a baker.
On the rooms I would recommend reviewing something, checking the rooms more before the guests arrive and paying more attention to cleaning and above all to the mattress covers, nothing that has not been resolved immediately after our requests.
We really appreciate the effort the owners put into their business and I wish them all the best.

The experience of staying at Mohini will provide you with an opportunity to get to know real people of this country. The kindness and hospitality of the hosts is unparalleled.. we had a set back and the hosts were very accommodating, called a doctor, took us to the hospital  numerous times and tried to help in every way imaginable. The room is clean, beds are very comfortable, you have plenty of hot water to shower. The breakfast is served on a terrace. The location is convenient, safe, and quiet. If you are budget minded travelled, do not hesitate to book yourself this accomodation. We will remember this experience for as long as we live and keep travelling. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

The host welcomed us from the moment we stepped out of the tuktuk and immediately helped us to plan our activities during our time in Agra. He arranged our transportation, meals, and schedule for us, and the home itself was spotless and clean, comfortable, and had great aircon. The family was attentive and always eager to help at any time, but they also gave plenty of privacy and personal space. (P.S. We had read other reviews about the chocolate cake with breakfast, and it’s NOT TO BE MISSED! Your waistline will forgive you.) Couldn’t have had a better stay here. Our only regret was that we didn’t stay for longer.

We stayed only for one night and loved the place. It's clean and has very nice rooms and a terrace. The owner is super friendly and arranged everything for us (Tuktuk to Taj Mahal etc.) - Good breakfast is also included and they provide free drinking water and towels. Recommended!

The house is located close to the Taj Mahal, in a quite area , the family is very welcoming , preparing excellent breakfast, we were lucky to get fresh baked Christmas cake! the guest house provided heaters, offers a nice terrace to take breakfast.

Amazing experience in hospitality and kindness

My stay at Mohini was comfortable and relaxed. I only really interacted with Sanjay, but he made me feel warmly welcomed to Agra and his home. He was a big help when it came to dealing with tuk tuk drivers (I wish I hadn’t gotten swept up by one at the train station my first day!) and had the best suggestions for organising my time. My room and bathroom were a little worn, but otherwise things were great.

Our stop at mohini was one night stay. We found a room in good condition and, thanks to the exceptional breakfast the owners offered us, the next day we were full of energy! Don't be afraid if you arrive there at night, you just have to go upstairs!
