As can be seen from the previous reviews, the reception is a bit cold, but during the breakfast (comfortable), the owner was more friendly and the short conversation was pleasant.

Nice room.

I staid one night but given the price I paid for a bedroom with shared bathroom ( with other 5 people!) I was expecting a proper service. The host is unfriendly and sometimes even rude. The breakfast room is packed and does not even have enough room for all guests if they all have breakfast at the same time. The hostel nearby has very friendly staff, as almost everywhere in Iceland!

Great location but unfriendly host

Fine is the word that goes for most of this Inn. The room: fine, not spacious but also not cramped. Location: fine, in the middle of town near the harbour. Building: fine, not very nice to look at or view out of, but hey, you are in Iceland, so get out and see something. Breakfast: fine, a bit simple, but you get what you need. Bathroom (shared): fine, there are a couple of them, which can be usefull. So overall: fine I guess, it does what it needs to.

That's what I'm going to remember first of all so the lady cools you down as soon as she opens the door and you look like you're being spied on, watched out, the kitchen, you're being asked not to smell...

I'm going to get a cold welcome.

It was a great room,good breakfast and so clean. The little town is nice to walk up the hill.
The lady who owns it....she is needs to warm up but is very nice and we as Dutch like het directness. Thanks for staying with you

Really nice stay

Welcome a little cold by the owner: Take off your shoes!! But quickly warmed up by the quality of the rooms and access to the kitchen

Perfect for a stopover

A smiling welcome from a man who asked us to park our vehicle in the back where we were on the same level as our room...we leave the shoes...beautiful room without sink or table, curtains close properly...possibility of cooking...microwave and induction plate...we can go on foot and register at Seatours' office... nice little port...but breakfast is offered with insufficient quantities...

Close to the ferry

The guesthouse is close to the harbour. It is quite ordinary (both the building and the owner). Anyway, bedroom and bathroom were quite good (the bedroom not very clean) and the kitchen was large and well organized.

It was the worst place to stay on our 10-day round trip. I've never been greeted so unkindly on my travels. You felt more disturbed. Breakfast was nice, cleanliness okay.

It's uncomfortable!

Our room was in the lower rooms, it was fine. But the shower was in a cornered area that was not suitable for the elderly. Breakfast was sufficient - standard. We were only one night, that was fine. For a longer stay it is not recommended.
