Everything was great. Whole family loves the location.Very easy to go anywhere walkable. It’s would be nice if the shower have a door. We will stay here again in the future.

Great place.We only stayed for 2 night but we had everything we needed for a group of 5.

This was a perfect place for us to stay on our last night in Iceland.  The apartment is spacious, well equipped and extremely convenient to all of the shops while overlooking the Rainbow Road!

10/10 experience. The host was amazing, the location is very central and the property itself was well stocked with everything you need, modern and very clean. Would stay here again.

I’ve travelled all around the world but I must say, Reykjavik has my heart. In part was because of this cozy apartment that feels like home. It’s conveniently located in a central area of Reykjavík, which was walking distance to many restaurants, bars and grocery stores. Both BSI and the harbour were 10 minute walks and got to enjoy excursions outside of Reykjavík. As a female traveller, neighborhood felt safe and the building was secure. Beds were cozy, linens were clean, check in/out was seamless. We did arrive in the early morning so it was dark and couldn’t see where the key box was and contacted the hosts who replied very quickly. We’ve decided that we’re coming back next year and definitely going to stay here.

Beautiful apartment in a perfect for location. Right at the start of Rainbow street. Might get loud at night, but we did not mind. Easy to find. So nice to be right outside of great shops and restaurants

Great apartment located at walking distance from the major attractions of Reykjavík. The room overlooking the Main Street is quite noisy due to the garbage collection scheduled early in the morning

Directions to get in to the apartment were a little confusing bc of the similar sounding names of the rooms and the door code/key situation. But otherwise, very clean and nice place to stay in a central location of Reykjavik. Plenty of space and had everything needed to make it feel comfortable.

Amazing location, could not get better! Huge windows overlooking Rainbow Street. Great for street people watching with a cup of tea. Location to all parts of the city so easy to get to from this location. We were so pleased with our stay. Apartment was very clean and we arrived to some groceries which was incredibly helpful. Dishwasher works well. Sofa bed very large and quite comfy. Plenty of space for a group of 3, would also be OK for 4. It had a coat hanging and shoe rack area... can't tell you how helpful this was! Sounds crazy, but trust me it makes such a difference when you have huge coats and lots of dirty walking boots/shoes. The only bad point was the noise. It was very very noisy because of it's location. It was not a problem for us but bring ear plugs if prefer not to be bothered by noise. I would not let this put you off, it was a brilliant place to stay. I would definitely look to stay here for my next visit.

The apartment is right overlooking the rainbow road so a fantastic location. Parking avaliable for 3hrs or free overnight just around yhe corner. The rest of the time if we were not out we parked for free up at the big church,  only a 5 min walk away.Apartment was super lovely inside, and beds really comfy! Wish there had been sofa room for 5 ppl and not three!!Only downside was the noise from outside late at night. It was quite bad, and Fri/sat morning loads of broken glass outside the gate everywhere.. plus road sweepers at 6.30am each morning..Not the properties fault but something to bear in mind if like me your a light sleeper.. that being said i would definitely come bk! Many thanks.

Comfy little Gem 💎 in Downtown Reykjavík

It was fun being right next to rainbow road!  The stairs getting to the apartment need some work, but the apartment itself was nice and had a great view. Would be a great location for people who want to be close to restaurants, shopping and night life. One challenge was finding parking and gettinf iur luggage there.  We stayed on a friday night and needed to walk atleast half a mile with luggage on bumpy sidewalks (or on the road when there weren't sidewalks) to get to the apartment.

Excellent stay at this property! Our room overlooked rainbow street and everything was in walking distance. I enjoyed this stay and would recommend this to anyone! It’s reasonably priced as well compared to other hotels and apartments. The only thing I didn’t know before hand is that where you can store your luggage before check in is at the other Odinn Reykjavik apartments so we did have to take a taxi to drop off our luggage and pick it up once our room was ready at this location. Other than that, I would say it was a 10/10 stay!

The location of this room could not possibly be better! The intersection of Skólavörðustígur and Laugavegur is the absolute heart of downtown. Self-check in was a breeze, and with the pullout sofa there was plenty of room for our family of four. There is no private parking, but finding free on-street parking in Rekjavik is easy if you're willing to walk 5-10 minutes and park just a few blocks away. Will certainly add it to our list of places to stay while in Iceland!

Great Spot in the Heart of Rekjavik

Great location, but the nightlife noise was very loud on the weekends ALL NIGHT long because the bars are open until 4:00 a.m. Parking was a challenge to find and usually a few blocks away - paying through the parking app was also a little confusing and resulted in us receiving one parking ticket, which we paid at a local bank. Other than the inconvenient parking and constant loud noises from bar music and patrons (we heard all the way up to the top floor penthouse) - which kept us awake until 4am, we had a good stay.

They partied all night long

Convenient location, but it comes with a price -NOISE.  On the weekends, the locals party very loudly and the bars are open until 4am.  The streets do not quiet down until 4am. You will hear everything - from the partiers' conversations down below (we were in the top floor penthouse) to the 20-30 year olds racing up and down rainbow street to the loud bass/music coming from the bars. If you are sensitive to sound, bring ear plugs. We stayed here two separate weekends, at it was the same each time. Sunday night was much more quiet. The location was fantastic, though parking was a challenge, so if the noise and parking aren't issues for you, this is a great apartment.

The property was in great condition, super clean and tidy and a fantastic location right at the heart of the walking district.Street noise outside was a bit of a factor as a bar across the street was playing loud music late into the night during our stay, which happened to be on a long weekend.Kitchen utensils could have been better stocked, as there were no sets of cutlery to use for our eat-in breakfasts.

Fantastic location in the heart of Reykjavik.  Easy access to all great things in town. Bring ear plugs, noise machines and sleep masks. The bars on the street are blasting music until 4 AM from Wednesday to Saturday. Excellent amenities in apartment. We had a very comfortable stay and loved the location, noise notwithstanding. We had a problem with another Odinn property above us and their all night, very loud party. We asked them to turn off their music at 4 , 6 , and 8 AM with little success. Evidently Icelanders have a lot of repressed partying to get to after the long, dark winter. We had a great vacation and mostly overcame the noise issues.
