We stayed in appartment 102 for a week over New Year 2018.  We found the apartment to be clean and spacious.  The central heating provides a cosy warmth and the two bedrooms were adequate for our party size.  The only downside for this apartment, was that being on the ground floor, we had to keep the blinds closed in the bedrooms or the passers by would be able to see in.  The living room had smoked glass halfway up the window which was useful, but this wasn't provided in the bedrooms.  I agree with the other review in that the check-in instructions were not very clear.  We tried to use the code provided to us to get into the entrance hall, but it was not working, so we had to wait until another family came and let us in!  The price was expensive, but not out of range with other similar accommodation in Reykjavik.  If you don't want to spend alot of money then Iceland definitely isn't the place to visit!!!

Fit for purpose, clean and spacious apartment

Not sure why this has just one review and a negative rating. This was steps away from another centrally located apartment that had top ratings on TripAdvisor and Booking.com but was a sore disappointment - we paid a little more for that place that was half the size and amount of bedrooms as this one, and didnt have great service with some elements not working!
This was great - the 2-bedroom apartments are spacious and go for the price of a one-bedder in this location, are clean, with coffees and teas. The kitchen is smallish but separate to the rest of the living area which is nice. The main bedroom and the smaller room are both adequately sized (the other place tried to fit 2 single beds into a smaller room than the 2nd bedroom). Security system is good and professional - my only gripe is that instructions on self check in should be clearer (there were 2 entries to the block of apartments - would have been nice if we knew which one to go to - we had 6 pieces of luggage which we dragged to the other entry). They've also got an office to attend to issues that's open late. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location &  Value - couldn't ask for more!

The photos are totally misleading. The apartment we rented was filthy, barren and felt like a dorm room. The sofa was so gross we only sat on the wooden chairs. There were no pictures on the walls, no place to relax. We stayed out at the local coffee shop as much possible to avoid returning to the apartment. The towels and sheets were very clean. But on closer inspection, the bed beneath the sheets was revolting. I don't know who wrote the reviews or provided the photos, but they bore no resemblance to the apartment we stayed in.

This was our favorite apartment in our trip.we chosed the 2 bedrooms to have more options, so it came with a single bed in one room and a double bed in the other room as well as a sofabed if needed which we didnt need. Check in was easy. We received the check in codes a couple of days before we arrived. We wanted to check in early so we had to stop by the main office which was less than 10 mins away. No problem there. The apartment itself is spacious and they gave us new towels. We were walking distance to the main attractions and we never had to pay for parking. There was free parking one block away. For check in you just enter the codes they give you in the email and youre good. Would totally recommend. You will not be disappointed. The tv also has hookup to sign into Netflix.

Convenient location

We stayed at the top floor aparment and paid for a balcony which wasn't there - and not refund was offered! Very noisy construction work going on, on the building, so dont expect to sleep very long in the mornings. The apartment beds are very poor and the entire apartment could use an upgrade. Location is good and the lady on the ground floor is very helpful, but it's not worth the very expensive price they are asking. Would not recommend it.
