Great location (central, and yet in a leafy quiet area); really clean, spacious flat; all mod cons available; modern smart TV with loads of English channels; great wi-fi; close to all attractions/shops and bus station to the airport; clean fresh bedding and huge bed; family live above the flat which is really convenient if you need any help (and they are really friendly & helpful).  Would recommend & definitely stay again - thank you Vala, Malla & Albert!

We were sorry that we only planned one night in this comfortable apartment in a handy area of Reykjavik. Plenty of space, free street parking our front, very friendly but unobtrusive hosts, great heating and linen and some handy local recommendations made this a perfect spot to start our week in Iceland. Would definitely stay again if I am lucky enough to visit Reykjavik again! Thank you!

My wife and I stayed her on our last night in Iceland after a six day vacation. Guesthouse Lena was the nicest place we stayed in our short week. Our room was large with a nice kitchen area near our room. There was only one other room on our floor and which we shared a bathroom with. Everything was spotless. We were welcomed by Lena upon arrival and provided with information about the guesthouse and neighborhood. The guesthouse is in one of the nicest neighborhoods of Reykjavik, the Norwegian ambassador's residence is next door. We thought Lena's was an exceptional value. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the guesthouse for a long weekend with three kids, 13, 8 and 8. The apartment fulfilled al lour expectations, and the two rooms had lot of space. Kitchen is well equipped, and we made almost all meals in the kitchen. Microwave and traditional oven, as well as spacious refrigerator with a small fridge.
Television with good selection of international channels including Norwegian and Danish channels. Wifi was free, and they also had Netflix available.
Area is quiet, but only 5-6 blocks away from the city-centre. 
We found parking outside the house for our rental car all time.

Staying here for a long weekend and the guesthouse is ideal; great location, lovely hosts, amazing fresh bread every morning, really comfortable beds and at a great price! Massively recommended and would definitely return.
