booked these apartment for 3nights for family trip to iceland 4adults & 1 teenager ,arrived to key coded front door & apartment door no problem easy to find . 10 mins to bus stop 3 .5 mins to bus stop 4 . you can get to most of the city sights with in 10 mins walk . 3 bedrooms plenty of bedding & towels . lounge & kitchen dinner plenty of room , full equipt kitchen everything you will need . would recommen to any travelier .very clean & warm 👍☃️

We were assigned level 3 of the apartment. Entire apartment is on staircase, reserve some time to carry luggage up... tiring. About 10 mins walk to Reykjavik town. Apartment and utensils are tired but owner keep the apartment/rooms tidy. Ok comfortable. Owner is friendly and willing to help with queries. Quiet location and safe neighbourhood. Double bed room is really compact. Toilet is small and hard to shower properly, water pressure difficult to control. 

Value for money 

My friends and I stayed for here while visiting Reykjavik this past August. The apartment was in a great location, close to all of the bars and shops downtown, just a few blocks walking distance, but far enough away that there was no street noise at night. Very comfortable sleeping arrangements, plenty of room for all of us. The apartment was clean and comfortable, new modern furniture. The bathroom and kitchen had everything we needed. Perfect stay!!

Great location, beautiful apartment!

So much to do within walking distance. Great location. The apartment was a very nice space with lots of natural light, very clean, and had everything we needed. No complaints, great place to stay!!!!!

Great location, well maintainted apartment

This was perfect for our family of 5.  We had a 3-bedroom apt (a little tricky with only 1 bathroom but we made it work). It was great to have a kitchen with restaurants, harbor and grocery store close by. Very easy to access the apt., but parking was difficult.

Great location

Our stay in Lighthouse apartments was absolutely wonderful. The apartment is quaint, very clean and in the most perfect location. only 5 minute walk from the harbor where all the tourist buses meet and 5 minute walk to the center of the town where all the restaurants and galleries are. The apartment was large about 1500 square feet, and has a nice peaceful calm to it and the owner was very accommodating to our needs. The grocery store is only about 5 minutes away so we could make breakfast and snacks. The apartment is super clean and bright and the beds comfortable. There were only 3 of us but we could of fit 6. We were lucky to find such a gem and happy we didn't stay in one of the overpriced hotels. I would definitely stay here again. The only con I had was that we were on the third floor and the steps were spiral and narrow. It was perfectly fine for me but if you are unable to walk steps request a room on the first floor. Oh and I forgot to mention the building is completely secure with an electronic system to unlock the front door with guests only knowing the code. So safe and secure.

EXCELLENT!!!!

My friends and I stayed here for a few days and we were very happy. It is spacious, very clean and well maintained. It is very close to Reykjavik town center about 10-15 mins walk but is located at a quiet residential area. We made our booking at the last minute but surprisingly, the price was still reasonable for a group of six. I won’t hesitate to stay here again if I’ll visit Iceland the 2nd time.

Well-maintained apartment, very close to the center

Very comfortable, clean and well laid out. The location is super with easy walking to anywhere in the town. Parking is a bit tough as it does get quite busy. Just drive around and you will find something.

Perfect location for all day trips to blue lagoon and golden circle. Also, easy walking distance to harbour and local restaurants. 

Very clean and also quiet.

Perfect location

Three of us stayed in apartment B and had a wonderful time, the apartment was cosy and everything you needed was provided. Really handy for Downtown, The Pond and The Harbour just a few minutes walk to each. We would definitely return and stay in this apartment so that says it all really. Good communication from Sloveig and rapid delivery of lightbulbs and even a corkscrew.(the one in the kitchen drawer was broken)
I have and will recommend The Lighthouse Apartments and I will be back!
