Simple, clean guesthouse. Proprietor is like everyone i've ever met in 4 trips to Reykjavik: genuinely nice, feel like you've known them all your life.I have no complaints about the room; I did think it included a TV in the room, but it was actually in the lobby of multiple room, of which mine was one. No worries; I was way too tired to watch it anyway. Included breakfast was skimpy, but again, not a huge problem for me. Nice to have coffee and some toast or cereal before you start you day. YMMV, but this room was perfect suitable for me and the nature of this one-night stop in Reykjavik.

Very good location within 20 minutes walk of city center . Room was very comfortable with radiator heating and a window to cool down. Microwave did seem to work but kettle and stove were good.

Check in was a little confusing as we were put in a different building. Once we picked up the key from main building , we had to go 4 houses down to another building. Once there, using the key took some figuring out and we were not the only ones having problem with the key. Only one bathroom that has shower, sink and toilet together for 5 rooms so it was no fun having to use bathroom in the morning when everyone was trying to get ready and leave The room itself was spacious and beds comfortable. Surrounding area is safe and great, walkable distance to the church and dining.

An alright stay in a great location!

My checked in process with Ingi was quick and friendly.  The location was convenient and walking distance to the BSI terminal, Reykjavik city center sights, shopping and bus stops for tours.  The single rooms are in the small side, but you are only there to sleep. The kitchen use is a plus for those who want to prepare their meals. The toilet and shower in each floor is okay. My first three nights was great since not a lot was using them. The last two nights were bad since more guests checked in and they left a mess in the the shower room. Overall, it’s a good budget hostel private room if you are not too picky.

Kind of old and run down. The cots are okay. Felt like a prison cell to tell the truth. Kitchen was nice but their "pay" breakfast was bread, jam, cheese, cereal and milk so we skipped that. Okay location. Parking available on street. Good for 1 night I guess.
