126 reviewsHotel Phoenix has a homey feeling, like a bed and breakfast. The location is fantastic, within walking distance of so many attractions. The cozy room was cleaned daily and there was even turn down service with chocolate on the pillow. Bottled water was in the room too. Having a view of the backyard was really pleasant. Breakfast was delicious and bountiful; eggs, cheese, tomatoes, jam, warm rolls, and famous Icelandic Skyrr were some of the items served, in addition to coffee and tea. The owners are amazing. They really know how to run a hotel. It was truly an honor to stay at Hotel Phoenix, for a much needed vacation. Reykjavik, is an incredible city with so much to see and do. Hotel Phoenix is in a perfect location, close to the bus stop, waterfront, shops, supermarket, restaurants, and my favorite community swimming pool. Iceland is awesome, as is Hotel Phoenix. Now it's time to learn the Icelandic language.
