We stayed at these apartments in February with our 2 children and they were fantastic.  We loved the floor to ceiling windows and we really enjoyed sitting in our bright and cosy apartment, watching the blizzard outside!  The apartments have everything you could wish for (microwave, dishwasher and dishwasher tablets, washing machine, tumble dryer, hairdryer, soap and shampoo, coffee maker with coffee and filter papers, olive oil, little carton of milk, even plasters in the bathroom cabinet! etc).  It was v clean and the beds were really comfy.  Our kids loved watching Netflix from their v comfy sofa bed!  The apartment has a little balcony which obviously we didn't use in Feb, and through the windows you can see the top of the church which is really magical when lit up at night.  The location is also great- v close to the main shopping street. We felt v sad to leave these apartments and they were faultless.  The only two things to note are that we had to chase the owners for the pin code for the key box two days before arrival, and we had a street lamp in front of the balcony which made the lounge v light at night so taking a sleep mask would be a good idea.  These apartments are very much recommended and they truly enhanced our holiday.

We stayed at Stay Apartments Njalsgata whilst spending 3 nights in Reykjavik, the location and facilites were perfect for our needs. We had a 1 bedroom apartment that had 3 single beds in the bedroom and a double sofa bed in the lounge, the 4 of us had plenty of space and it worked.

The location is literally minutes from the main shopping area and there are lots of restaurants in the area that cater for all tastes. 

If we ever come back to Reykjavík (and I hope we do, it’s beautiful) I would have no hesitation in booking with Stay Apartments again.

Great location, close to everything...

We stayed for 5 nights as a group of 8 people (5 adults and 3 children below 11 yrs). The rooms were spacious and well appointed. Everything including the sofas, bed linen and the pots and pans were spotless. The single bathroom for a 3 bedroom apartment (which did not lock!) was a bit of a spoiler.
It was perfect for our large family as we had a good time in the common seating and dining areas and also had enough beds to sleep everyone comfortably.
Location wise we quickly figured out there was a 'Bonus' departmental store nearby - so convenient!
In short, this was a wonderful place to stay.

Stay Apartments Einholt

We were 6 people renting a three-bedroom apartment for 1 week in Reykjavik. This was a good deal since the appartment includes a kitchen so you can make your own food. Eating out is very expensive in Iceland! The apartment was pretty good, close to the main part of the city (10 min walk) and reasonably quiet at night. The cleaning is okay on the surface though some stuff was found under a bed indicating that it may be surface-cleaning and not very thourough. All in all I will recommend this place to others as a good alternative to a classic hotel. 

Be aware that there is no lobby or reception and no day-to-day cleaning unless requested.

Good apartment if you are a bigger group

I am so happy about finding Stay Apartments Njalsgata! It was a great value, amazing location and beautiful roomy place! We had a 2 bedroom apartment, the beds were very comfortable, it was in the walking distance from all the attractions and down town, the place was clean with large refrigerator, tv, microwave and everything you need! Thank you so much for making our vacation great ! Iceland was amazing!
