We really enjoyed our stay here. The host was very kind and friendly, and quite helpfully told us about places in the area to visit. The breakfast was really good quality of food. The beds were comfortable and the shared bathroom was large and nice and clean. 

Lovely place

The room was very small even though we hadn't booked a small double room option. It was the only time we preferred to use the common bathroom over the private one: it was so dirty with spiders everywhere because the window had been left open. The basket hadn't been emptied by previous guests and the floor didn't even look clean. Good breakfast but we're definitely not coming back.

Avoid it!

Nice hotel, simple but clean. The main thing is in the rooms. The common ones are nice. The toilets are very clean. Beautiful views for the rooms by the sea. But the road goes under the windows on this side. Not too bad because there are few inhabitants. The staff is a little introverted but very helpful! We can ask them for a picnic for about 2500 ISK (about 17 euros).

Tour of Iceland 2019

We stayed here for one night and were very satisfied. The room was nice and clean and the owner was very friendly and helpful. The WiFi worked well and the breakfast was great.

Pleasant Accommodation

This was a great guesthouse. We had a double room with our own bathroom. Everything was clean and newer. Breakfast was good with a few extras. Good coffee and tea are available throughout the day. They have a wonderful bright room with a gorgeous view. Breakfast is here but the sitting room can be used throughout the day. We used it for afternoon and evening tea. Great place. Highly recommend.

A little gem with a big view

Myself and three friends booked the Radagerdi Guesthouse while traveling through the West Fjords and couldn't have been more pleased. Eva was so helpful and welcoming from the very beginning. The guestroom we stayed in was simple and well-kept. The bathroom was also well-kept and the shower was simply perfect after a long day of hiking through the nearby bird cliffs. The breakfast is hearty and the best I had in all of Iceland. The guesthouse is well-maintained and the clean and modern decor is perfection.

A Wonderful Stay

The Radagerdi Pension is by far the most hospitable hotel during our 12-day road trip (11 hotels in total). We had informed the team via email that we would not make it until the end of check-in. We arrived well after 11:00 p.m. Everything was fine. The door is open, room keys were ready. The room is incredibly small and for large people with backs sometimes quite complicated, but for one night it was possible. I slept like on clouds. Super comfortable. The cleanliness was great too. The breakfast was great. Small selection, but freshly brewed coffee, definitely backed up Baguette and homemade Pesto were my favorites. I would come back!

Incredibly hospitable and charming.

We had a one night stop here on our way around the island.  The room was small but adequate.  The beds were comfortable.  Breakfast was tasty and filling.  My only issue is that whenever someone took a shower/bath next door it caused a heck of a racket in our plumbing.  Thankfully no one used the facilities after 11 p.m. so it really wasn't a problem.

A good place to take a break

I get the hostel comments on trip advisor, the rooms are small and sparse and some appear to be without private bathroom and look onto the hill behind. Ours had a PB, comfortable bed and was fine. What makes this place are the forward views, mountains, fjord and boats. The young team were very helpful and the breakfast was one of the best in Iceland.

Depends on room.

Very friendly landlady, who cares quickly and well and gives valuable tips. The house is very charmingly modernized (including bathrooms). The breakfast buffet is prepared very lovingly and lavishly by the landlady with many delicious, partly homemade dishes. During the day the breakfast room can be used with free offer of coffee and tea. Very nice view over the fjord. Nice restaurant and pool nearby.
