For the fourth time in Julia's Guesthouse. As always, perfect. Very warm, warm hospitality. The traditional island house is ideally located in a quiet nature, close to Selfoss and Hella. Behind the house breathtaking views to the width of Eyjafjallajökull, Mydralsjökull and Hekla. The authentic ambience is not only the great hosts but also the animals that live on the property such as ducks, chickens, cats and a rabbit. Great breakfast with daily self-baked bread. A treat. For every trip to Iceland, Julia's Guesthouse is a set-up. So round the top... So you could get a great guesthouse on the island.

Perfect atmosphere, the guesthouse in the southwest!

The accommodation is very clean, the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom and the toilet (separate) are common, and there is a small sink in the room. The breakfast is excellent and cozy. Julia makes the bread herself. We were very well received. The place is perfectly located to visit the Golden Circle region.

That's perfect!

The typical Icelandic house is very cozy, very clean and with many details. Spacious room, with stunning views and shared bathroom, everything impeccable. The hostess Julia welcomed us very kindly, even though we arrived late. Very respectful, polite, friendly and great lover of her animals. She has chickens, hens and cats, who treats them with great affection and respect. Very varied, exquisite breakfast, with homemade bread and jams, cheeses and egg rolls and fresh Icelandic embroidered eggs from her own chickens, cooked at the same time by herself.

Inmejorable accommodation in a guesthouse B&B islandesa.

After two kilometers of dirt-free road we arrive at the cottage. Small cottage, only two rooms. Friendly Swiss patroness. Among chickens and hens. Many cats. We are warned to be careful to close our door carefully if we do not want to have feline visits. Gentle decoration made with gout from reclaimed wood. Large bed with beautiful mattresses, common sanitary facilities. Modern comfort. Good breakfast. Provide liquid because you do not take cards.

Unusual place

We were 3 on the way and we were allowed to live in the 3 bedroom. The house is totally hearty, cozy and incredibly lovingly decorated. Julia's breakfast with homemade bread and fresh eggs (from seemingly happy chickens) was the hammer! Thanks to Julia's excursion tips, we were able to explore and experience beautiful places👍 Julia - thank you very much ❤️ for the hospitality!

Julia is a super-hearted host. She spoiled us with a wonderful breakfast and was super spontaneous. I can only recommend these cute little houses to anyone who knows how to appreciate a farm. Because cats, birds, rabbits and a chicken can be discovered here. Thank you Julia. We look forward to the next time:)

A dream farm with a hearty atmosphere

The guesthouse is hidden behind steep hills and small forests, off the Ring Road. The house is already a private one from the outside: it is made of wood with five gills painted in strong yellow. Around the house are many chickens and four cats who have also accompanied us on the walk. The owner Julia radiates peace, tranquility and comfort - you will feel comfortable with her right away. The delicious breakfast - with largely homemade ingredients and, of course, the eggs of happy chickens - is eaten at the large dining table together with the other guests, so that you can immediately enter into conversation and exchange tips and inquiries.

Feeling well

Julia's guesthouse was our first stay in Iceland. Own room with toilet and shared shower. It was very cosy and had drinks with Julia and Mike (who were getting married in two weeks)! Animals all around and every morning a fresh egg with our breakfast.

We had a great time at Julia's! It was verry cosy, animals all around and every  morning  a fresh egg with (warm) self bkaed bread. We had our own room with toilet, had tobshare the shower.
Drank som beers with Mike (the soon "to be" husband of Julia. Super.

Great stay at Julia's

We were so happy at Julia's right away because of all the animals! We let one of the cats into our room and played with him for a long time. there was a chicken in the kitchen when we arrived! It was a close drive after doing the Golden Circle and we were greeted warmly by Julia. no, it's not a Hilton, lol but we wanted local flavor and that's what we got. The homemade bread was awesome and the price was decent. We would stay here again.
