Booked with booking (without cancellation) a room for June 2020, due to covid the trip skipped. Rebooked for June 2021 also last year due to lack of flights skipped. This year we finally left and while all the other hotels/guesthouses allowed us to rebook, some with an increase in price, the owner of this guesthouse first responded elusive then did not respond anymore. Morality the money has pocketed them and we had to rebook elsewhere.

Dishonest

Very nice clear room with nice mountain view, well equipped (fridge, microwave, TV). Large bathroom very functional. impeccable cleanliness! You feel good in this place. Friendly and efficient home. Very well located, near the center.

Very good address

Excellent quality price. It is comfortable, large, everything super clean and cozy. The super friendly owners, one of the best places to stay in Iceland. We arrived early without warning and were very well received.

Comfortable and clean.

Room with no bathroom, but coffee machine, TV, fridge, very cosy guesthouse in that such a pretty town, extra clean and welcoming hosts. It has a small garden where you can relax in summertime and watch the beautiful mountains of Isafjordur. I’ll come back for sure.

Cosy and friendly

Not to mention: spacious and well-furnished apartment with various amenities (TV, wifi, snack, coffee). Check in flexible, dynamic and friendly, with willingness to point out the best solutions for meals. Check out comfortable and simple. I'd come back and recommend it.

Nice apartment.

The owner has several accommodations which are all booked through GentleSpace. Only after confirmation did we learn that we are in the Tungata 20 accommodation. This is a multi-family home and we had the apartment in the basement. The basement sounds like it's dark, but it's not because the terrain at the back of the apartment block is deeper and it goes out evenly onto the terrace. The accommodation is very clean and modern. The bedroom with two beds, with bathtub, bathroom kitchen and living room with sofa bed. The living room can't be made very dark, which can be a little disturbing on the long summer nights in Iceland. The really dark leaf is also very valuable in comparison to many other accommodation, and the lodging room is very free of tickets.

In the case of Tungata 20, Isafjordur

I stayed for one night with my husband. We stayed in a super comfortable room... wonderful bed, closet, coffee maker, oven, coffee, tea, chocolate... What a whim!!! The bathroom is huge!! I highly recommend it!!!!

That's a great place!

5 min walking to town center. Isafjordur is not big so you easly travel on foot
around the town.

Rooms where very nice and tidy. Twinbes ,sofa, cable/satelite TV.
Microwave and fridge to provide own breakfast.

Common bathroom - very fresh.

Owners very freindly and helpful.

If I go back I certainly would chooes the same place.

Fossavatn ski marathon Isafjordur

...very clean, very well maintained and furnished with a love of detail! You can see that it was thoughtful. The owner had good tips and helped us with the restaurant reservation at the place.

friendly and clean guesthouse

The town itself has nothing much to do, so coming to this place to stay was really very relaxing. 

The shared toilet is huge and the best part is that the floor is heated! The owners were so friendly and very easy to talk to. 

The owners stayed upstairs and there are a total of 3 rooms. We were lucky to be the only ones staying that day! 

There is free parking at the back of the house and don't use Google maps to find this place because you will be directed to a different location. Call the owners to guide you to the place. 

The house has the words gentlespace on the door. 

Will recommend this place!
