Quiet and serene location. Spacious bathroom. Check in was hassle free.

This was a perfect break on the Ring Road. We spent two nights. The extra space of an apartment and the laundry feature was ideal. It was about 25 mins from Lake Myvatn and close to the falls.

Perfectly situated, well designed, quiet and friendly. Our own entrance meant that we could leave and return without disturbing others. Perfect place for 2 friends. Highly recommended

Very nice apartment and glad we had a couple nights to stay here.  Kitchen was well equipped and the area is nice and quiet!

Very nice apartment, a bit pricy I felt.  Such genuine hosts, they went an extra mile to ensure we were comfortable.  The laundry machine is a mystery, especially if you are used to the big/fast ones in the US.  The host went out of the way to help us by offering other options.  Just that one act left such an incredible impression.  Will return for sure.

Nice and quiet. Beautiful scenery. Beds are a little firm. Might want to make a note for guests of toll off of 1 and how to avoid it. Very clean with all the essentials! Laundry, kitchen with various appliances, shampoo, etc…

We spent two nights here and it was the most comfortable stay we had in Iceland - plenty of space, wonderful light, great amenities (like the washer/dryer) and very well located. From here, we explored the Lake Mývatn area and went to Húsavík for a late night whale and puffin watching tour. It felt like a home away from home!

Great place to stay if you are traveling in the Mývatn or Húsavík area! Apartment is very clean and has a kitchen with all of your cooking needs. Plenty of room for 3-4 people. The sofa couch was comfortable. The owner has a dog that is very friendly and will greet you upon your arrival which is an extra plus!

Very clean and well equipped kitchen.  Although it may not be the cheapest, the quality is very good.

They have thought of energy detail.  Best place we stayed so far in Iceland.

Property was located on the first floor of the building, so we needed to carry all our cases up the stairs, be mindful if you have a lot of bags to carry up.  Apartment was cosy sized but not quite enough room for a party of 6 with all the bags. Instructions were clearly displayed on the kitchen wall. Location was remote (in the middle of fields) but this is great for Northern Lights watching and peaceful.

This was one of my favorite stays in Iceland. The apartment was very spacious, organized, clean and well equipped. The owner had good communication about check in/out. I loved the remote location. It would be a good base for touring in that area. We would stay here again. And the views! What a lovely, restful spot. 
  My one small suggestion would be to add directions for those of us who have never used the type of oven/stove and washer/dryer. I’m sure it’s simple for most but a step by step for those would be nice.

Beautiful, clean apartment

We have spent 2 wonderful nights at Breidamyri Farm Apartments and we have loved it.
Peaceful area, amazing brand new place with everything you might need.
High quality services and items; huge spaces, private stunning bathroom, private kitchen and even a common room with laundry and dryer.
It's close to Myvatn Lake and Husavik so you can use it as departure base for tons of activities to do around here.
Very recommended it

Wonderful place

Such a nice place!  This would be a great place to stay for a few days and explore areas in all directions. Large area with a great kitchen. There was a laundry area which I didn’t use but nice to have available. Very quiet. Would recommend!  Look for the building with the swing in front. The color seemed different than in the photo. Restaurant and small grocery store close by.

This was by far our favorite place to stay in all of Iceland! Everything was incredibly clean and well appointed. We had everything we could possibly need and having nice big fluffy towels and a washer and dryer was so nice. The only think that would have been nice would have been to have some chairs for relaxing on the patio, but really this place had everything else you could imagine. We really enjoyed our two nights here!

What an absolutely wonderful place to stay! Very clean and spatious apartment with everything you need. Clear check in procedure. Fantastic location, both very private and close to ringroad 1. A good base to explore the area since this apartment is close to Mývatn, Húsavík, Akureyri,… and only a few minutes drive to Goðafoss. I enjoyed my stay to the fullest and would love to come back!

A clean and spacious apartment in a wonderful area

If you are looking for a clean well appointed apartment with gracious hosts look no further. The location is  ideal for exploring a number of attractions in North Iceland. I would not have come back for a second stay if I had not been impressed with the accommodations and how friendly the owners are.
