Hotel Hódi

A beautiful swimming pool under an exotic dome is the stand-out, memorable feature of this hotel. This is a wonderful place in which to recover after long distance travel, or trudging through busy cities. The hotel is quiet and comfortable, located inside a gated garden. It is a short walk from shops and the main street. The most interesting place of interest to visit, is a very short walk from the hotel. It is an interesting restored palace which features full-scale wax figures arranged in scenes from the local history, including the aftermath of battles and a particularly bloodthirsty countess who eventually died after being bricked into a tiny cell in the wall of the palace.
