This a very good hotel situated in the surroundings of Miskolc Tapolca termal baths. The hotel was a bit older (the room equipment - mainly the windows) but it had a jacuzzi and tennis court. The food was perfect (both the breakfast and dinner).

Very good hotel

I’m afraid l’ll never be back again here. It is such an old hotel of socialcommunist style. I went back to my childhood, but meanwhile 35yrs passed away. Our room was not clean, so we asked for extra cleaning in the first minutes, as the floor was covered with dust, so much dust and many bust bunnies, and  unfortunately, not only under the beds but at visible places.
Moreover, we found the bed’s mounting frame damaged so we even had to have it exchanged shortly after we had arrived. 
Air conditioning was ok, it worked and we could heat with it. Matresses of the beds were also ok. We had liquid soap in the bathroom but we had only one towel per person, and I found no hairdryer. The dinner was ok, although, service was poor. Television has a relatively appropriate screen size and quality of screening was also surprisingly good.

Never again

Where do I start? Dirty, dusty, hairs everywhere in the room, bugs in the bedding... no hand towels, 1 piece of toilet paper provided... The accommodation is cold, the refrigerator is loud. The terrace started to rot, cigarette butts stuck in the railing. The only positive is the staff, they are nice and helpful, but they cannot compensate for what has been described, the management should think about how long it can be done like this... You don't expect luxury, I didn't commit to impossible things, just basic hygiene is needed at least achieve.

I do not recommend

First of all, I do not recommend accommodation at all.
The hotel is badly or even not maintained.
The uninterested receptionist @ check-in not trained well & did not speak even basic English / German / Italian / French.
NO HOT WATER. 
One and only thin, small towel.
Dirty toilet.
Dirty shower (limescale and black mould).
Three out of five lights did not work!
The blinds were so small, that they did not cover the windows.
The shower sink completely clogged.
The only shelf in bathroom has been removed and never replaced.
TV smaller than the average laptop screen.

Not even 1* hotel

I'm afraid I can't leave a positive review for this hotel. First of all the pictures doesn't reflect the actual look of the hotel. When we walked in the first news were that there is no water in the building as a water pipe broke a couple of hours before our arrival. The room was okay except there was limescales all over the bathroom and two single beds were pushed together as a double bed. Needless to say it wasn't comfortable like that. We had no water for almost two days, only for our second evening and the only "refund" we got was two tickets to the Miskolctapolca cave bath. I was excpecting a little more enthusiasm over the problem as even we had to bring up buckets of water so we can flush the toilets. On the positive side the food and the spa( jacuzzi and sauna ) was great!  I don't like leaving negative reviews but it was a dissapointing experience for us. 

2 nights stay

No tea kettle in the room, that was dramatic. I had forgotten there are rooms without tea kettle. I didn't like sport activities by my window, too. BUT the breakfast was delicious. I would like to thank the young men who served them. Delicious jam, juice, rolls, meat. Good coffee, black and strong. Tasty yoghurt. Thanks a lot.

No tea

We spent a weekend there. As the hotel should be a 3 star hotel, i was disappointed. The bed linens was torn, two beds were put together as a double bed, not so confortable.
On our last day there was no hot water and could be a bit cleaner.
But breakfast was good and the waiters were friendly.
