I can not say a bad  word about this  hotel, we have stayed here many times. The staff have always been friendly and welcoming. The food is always   good and nicely priced, and the service is always outstanding. There is just one thing I would recommend, it would be that there are milk portions in the restaurant, or maybe in room for those who would like to have a tea or coffee in their room.

Excellent stay

Special hotel and clean garden in the middle of Kecskemét. Quiet and with a very wide selection of dishes! There is also a low garage and it is monitored 24 hours.

Going south!

The hotel has perfect location, in the heart of Kecskemét., for 2 minutes from the Theatre, for 5 minutes from the Bus station.
The rooms  was large and nice, clean in every day, very comfortable with elegant style and modern design. And the food - the breakfast and the lunch-  was fantastic; very tasty and lots of varieties... The manager and the staff of the restaurant was very attentive and friendly.
We have celebrated  the wedding of my daughter and we really had  wonderful days in the hotel. 
The receptionist Ferenc was friendly,  very kind and helpful, he managed everything  /check in, requests, check out /  very fast.
Highly recommended,  we definitely would like to come back again. 

Lovely hotel in the heart of Kecskemét 

This place gets a poor rating because of the absolute rudeness and appalling attitude from both the night desk and next morning staff. Don't waste your time here. This is a tired old hotel, with dusty rooms and aging carpets that are musty. The breakfast is sub standard with very little choice and the attitude of the restaurant staff was also terrible. Go anywhere else but here. 

Terrible experience

We came in this restaurant,looks nice and professional, however they used many bad lettuce , black in some parts, not fresh.In both the salads we took

I consider you throwing the bad lettuce in the rubbish instead of serving it to get rid of it thinking we are dumb.

Are you kidding?

3 nights on business trips here. the room is big and clean but the bedding is torn and the sheets too small. it takes forever to get food in the restaurant, although only a few tables are occupied.

It's still going on.

Spacious room with 2 large offices. Wi-Fi functional. W-C separate from the bathroom. Medium external sound insulation (for rooms facing the street): you can hear car traffic. Lunch: tea, coffee, wineries, ham, charcuterie, scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, fruit, yogurt and fruit juice. Possibility of restaurant (very copious local cuisine). Parking on the street (horodators). AMEX card accepted.

A comfortable hotel in a good location

There were 4 good days there, a good starting point to explore the surroundings. A highlight is breakfast, which leaves the service to be desirable, unfortunately. Coffee machine is very poor, otherwise you have a large selection of fresh things. Overall, they are very eager to meet the guest! It also has a small spa area, can't say anything about it. I think it could improve one or the other a bit, then it would be a top.

A good hotel to visit

As I attended a wedding in the restaurant of this hotel, I decided to stay because it was very convenient. This review only reflects my experience with the hotel, and not the restaurant, which is much, much better.
Anyway. As a guest at the wedding, we received a discounted price which was equivalent of about ~£40.
I left the booking for the last minute, but the receptionist was very helpful so a room was provided. As we were leaving quite early next morning, I requested a quiet room. However, upon check in, turned out that the room had 2 single beds instead of a double bed. Again, receptionist resolved the problem in no time, and a room with double bed was provided.
So I can’t complain about the staff. But that’s the end of the positive experience and the hotel is far-far away from 4*! Not even a 3*! I would suggest for the management to have a look at other 3* & 4*  hotels around Europe and be more realistic. Despite the hotel going through a refurbishment about 8 years ago, the interior of the room looks and feels very dated. You can judge it yourself from the pictures. Bathroom is worn down badly and walls are dirty. Can’t close or lock the toilette door. Shower head is also worn out so badly, that when you try to take a shower, the water is going everywhere from the nozzles. Yep, all over the place did the damage caused by lime scale. 
Bed is not exactly on the comfortable side neither, but in general no issue with the cleanliness of the place, it’s just worn down.
After check in I also would’ve like to try the wellness facilities of the hotel, but jacuzzi was out of order. The breakfast wasn’t too bad, but I would recommend to stick with tea or water and go drink a coffee somewhere else. 
Now to be fair, all of this I wouldn’t mind if the hotel wouldn’t consider itself as a 4* facility, and wouldn’t ruin the reputation of the name it’s using as the original Három Gúnár used to have a very respected reputation. On the other hand, the venue in the restaurant was excellent, food was very high quality and staff was friendly. But that’s a different review...

Way too far from 4*!

Very clean and furnished with terrace! Old furniture, quiet and recommended. Unfortunately no shampoo in the bathroom, and 1 very small piece of soap! Breakfast very rich, drinks, bread, croissant fresh!
