I stayed here for two nights. The rooms are old and badly maintained. Of course it is not five stars hotel, but it should be a little more tidy.
The bathroom is very small and the shower is broken.
On the other side, the restaurant is good, they have Hungarian menù and I found all what I ate good.
The waitresses are very polite and helpful.
The right vote can be 2 and half.

It is better the restaurant than the rooms

This guesthouse has very friendly and helpful staff. I turned up on a bicycle at the end of a long day cycle touring. I was greeted by friendly staff, able to lock my bicycle in a back room of the guesthouse, enjoyed a lovely hot shower in a clean and spacious bathroom, then promptly fell asleep on the bed for an hour or two. 

There was no wifi in my room but I could sit in the restaurant with my laptop plugged into a powerpoint and work there. The staff were appropriately attentive offering me a menu but not pressuring me at any time. The food here is very good by Hungarian standards and the portions are huge. 

I would stay here again if I was in the area.

Friendly staff and comfortable room

It was not high comfort but you have to rate fairly for what you pay. For 33 euros (10 000 forint - $45) for 2 persons we had a copious 3-scrambled-egg breakfast while the room was as simple as a youth hostel and the towels small, uneven and very thin. Personnel was very friendly and we slept well. They also have a good restaurant.
Free parking and 400m from the train station, this is between Holloko and Eger, tourist magnets of this region.
