The hostel is small (only a few rooms)  but very clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful, but the best thing about it is its location, on a road filled with restaurants and just around the corner from the opera house, you're right in the centre of the city! I would definitely go back there and would recommend it to a friend.

I really liked the position, very near to the metro station, and near to most of the attractions. On our arrival, the staff was very friendly and helped us with directions in the city and nice places to go. Good price-quality place to stay if you're a traveler on a budget.
The cleaning was not very good. I have some allergies and the dust in the room did not help a lot. Also, the bathroom was a little smelly. The staff was not present during the days we were there, just on our arrival, so if we had any problems it would be difficult to communicate (we have exchanged whatsapp numbers, so this was the only way to communicate). Anyway, we didn't have great problems. The last thing was the wi-fi that sometimes went off,  but it was ok most of the time.

Good price-quality ratio for travelers on a budget

Amazing location, great price

We stayed here for a few nights backpacking. We found it a little hard to find...especially as it was dark and rainy...but the owner came quickly once we had telephoned. We were given a large five bed room...we had asked for a double bed...the owner said we could put the beds together...not comfortable as the beds had wooden frames. There was a very small shared kitchen, which I had to clean before it could be used. Our room had been cleaned but not that well...cobwebs and very dirty window sill. The bedding was clean though. We had to e-mail the owners as the heating was not on. We arrived that night to find that it had been put on and someone came to check that it was on. We thought "great", as after a day exploring in the cold, nice to come back to a warm room. Not to be...it was off again. E-mailed the owner but no reply. We only had heating one night. This would be a real problem as winter rolls in. The location was excellent. Wifi wasn't that great. My husband turned it off and on, it seemed to work a lot better then. We did have a great stay in Budapest. Thank you. Shell and Chris from Scotland xx

GREAT LOCATION

For 3 nights in the tiny dormitory,  the 1st night was 4 of us.  Fortunately Nice people,  respectful of others.  As the host girl welcomed me,  she Said To me you will be on your own tomorrow. Ok.  Nice.  But actually,  back in the afternoon,  yes I was alone but in a room not cleaned at all: no new sheets on the free Beds,  used towels still hanging on the bunk beds... and the floor and the bathroom just untouched  and left dirty.  I don't even wanna take a shower.  I can be very understanding usually but this is too much. No respect what so ever for the customer,  this time,  me. I've called them to find out if they were supposed to come cleaning today.  They say at 6pm.  It's now 7:30pm and finally somebody's here.  Cannot tell yet if she will clean decently this room,  but definitely not a decent time to do it anyway. 
This is my  first commentary in these last 7 years travelling. 
Very sorry but necessary. 
It has  to be improved
