Mentha Apartments Centrum

I went to Budapest in January 2018 with my mom & dad for a Rod Stewart concert. From previous experiences, I knew it was best to try and find an apartment for the three of us, because it is usually cheaper than a good hotel. The photos were okay, the price was really good, but I was still nervous, because I knew my parents could be a bit judgy of they didn’t like the place. But it was amazing! We stayed in the apartment located on Erkel Utca (it was the owner’s favourite, as she mentioned). First of all, it looked even better than the pictures we found on Booking. Even tough the building was pretty old, the interior had new furniture, it was really clean (which is probably the most important issue) and it had all the appliances we could have needed. It was very spacious and it could accomodate up to 5 people without any worries. I recognized most of the pieces of furniture, because I used to know the Ikea site by heart :) (I had recently decorated my own apartment). The only problem was with the parking spaces. We had to leave our car in an underground parking, just a few blocks away and we only took it out the day we left. The place was located wonderfully and we only had to walk 5 minutes to get to the Danube river, maybe 10 to reach the commercial street, with all the famous brands. All in all, our experience was great and I would really recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in the heart of Budapest!
