We stayed here for 3 nights and had a comfortable stay. The hostel is located 20 minutes away from the centre and about 10 from a laundromat.
We stayed in a 4 bed mixed dorm and the room was spacious and we had lockers underneath the beds, however they only gave us one key even though we had 2 beds.. Which makes no sense.
The beds are hard but I like hard beds so it was fine - there was a weird gap between the wall and the bed though. The bedside lamps didn't work for either of us.
The showers and toilets are private and lockable, though the toilets don't flush fully and the showers flood a little.
The staff were kind and there was a buffet breakfast each day for 3€. The kitchen was good, hard to find sharp knives though and no one washes up so better signage would probably be good. 

Overall, the stay was very good for us as we'd just come from a terrible accommodation previously.

Nice place, little noisy and bathrooms can flood

The day we arrived the staff at the reception ignored us and when we told them that our room wasn’t clean, since there were stains on the bedsheets and the the room was super dusty, they just told us that the room was fine and shouldn’t complain. The morning after we found bed bugs in our room so we told them and they said they would call a exterminator. When we came back to our room that evening there were still bed bugs in our room and we were covered in bed bug bites. So we went down and told the staff and they said they couldn’t do anything and that we had the stay in our room so, we had to sleep on the ground. The following morning we went to ask if we could speak to the manager and get our money back and they just told us that we couldn’t talk to them even worse the manager walked in the hostel and ignored us and we weren’t allow to talk to them at all. After that they told us to leave because they did everything they could do.

Bed bugs and worst service ever

We stayed here for 3 night and loved every minute of it. The room was lovely and spacious with an ensuite. There was also breakfast included. The reason for a 4 star is simply because if there was a bar or even wider range of food for breakfast available it would be a 5 star. The staff were so helpful and nice and made us feel part of a family’s it’s also a very close walk to all major attractions and metro/trams. I’d definitely return as it’s a safe, pleasant environment. 

Lovely accommodation 

We stayed here in an 8 person form for 4 nights.

We paid for two single beds in the dorm with 2 lockers and when we first checked in we didn't get a key each just one between us and we also had to share a locker for the duration of our stay because all of the keys to lockers in our room didn't work. 

Although we are travelling as a couple this was really inconvenient because it meant one person always had to ask for the key to get their stuff out and it was a hassle. When we voiced concerns about this, staff told us 'yeah we'll need to get that fixed because theres a festival next week and the place will be packed!!' Didn't seem to care that the hostel was already at capacity and that current guests weren't getting what they paid for.

Bathrooms were shared and disgusting. Some other guests on our floor were stag parties so this is probably why bathrooms were so bad but nothing was done about the state of them by staff. One morning they were covered in sick and stayed that way until the evening.

Staff in general were just uninterested and not that helpful. 

Only good things about this hostel were that they had a kitchen, you could book tickets for the baths at reception and the location was within walking distance to Deak Ferenc Ter (35 mins or so though). Reachable by metro but last metro is at 11.30 so if you're going out you will have to walk back.

They also had laundry services here which was helpful. It was only 7 euro too which was good.

Well situated and cheap but not great

14 bed dorm with one bathroom between us all.  Not ideal, especially when the show floods and the bathroom becomes a swamp. Staff seemed unable to help.

The room was sweltering and noisy, beds uncomfortable. Would not stay again.
