For the second time in Budapest and for the second time I chose the Locust Tree Apt... as the last time it all went very well! Apt very spacious, clean and with everything essential for a great stay. The available and courteous staff. Strongly recommended to everyone, from couples to families.

Great Residence

It was an unexpected surprise. I went there with two of my friends from 19 to 26, and although we had bought an apartment for four people, the price was still good (300 euros and routes each). For my forgetting I was only able to communicate the arrival time and how many people we would have been, the night before we left, but luckily everything went well. The reception staff were very available and kind, especially for payment: having the money on a card, we had to delay payment in several places because of the daily expenses limit imposed by the bank. That said, the apartment was a beautiful surprise. Very spacious, illuminated (three balconies and numerous windows), well furnished, and very clean, especially regarding the bathrooms.

22 of us stayed here for a hen weekend and I've recommended them to others on our return. 

Apartments are spacious and clean, perfect for a social group. I was very lucky and got a room in the other block with two toilets, but downside for others in main block was six women sharing one toilet! Outside area could do with a refresh but rooms were great so that's fine. 

Reception staff varied. Most were fab at getting us cabs etc, one forgot to order them which meant we were late for the beer bikes as had to walk but generally happy with the service.

Location was perfect. Round the corner from nightlife which made it easy for the girls to head back to bed in small groups when they wanted to. Couldn't hear any noise in the rooms so a win win on that front! 

Walking distance to the river and Parliament building too. And great prices to top it off!

Great place 

I have been at Budapest many times and stayed different hotels/apartments. But for me, Locust tree apartments has been the most best choice ever. We had this huge balcony which we enjoyed much. The apartment was very clean, staff was really nice and the location is good (near the metro and tram). Great restaurants ans bars/pubs near by. This hotel is suitable for families and group of friends. The room has all the basic necceties. Would recommend this for everyone who wants a good place to sleep while staying in Budapest! 

The best apartment ever

I personally visited Locust Tree Apartments before booking and recommending this place for my family and friends as an accommodation for our wedding. They were so professional and I was pleasantly surprised that the rooms looked exactly as in the pictures or better, and were fully equipped even with a washing machine! I even asked for a discount for our wedding party and they gladly gave it. 

The service my family received through out the stay was outstanding and all of us couldn't stop commenting about it. Anything from extra hangers to extra trash bags (the trash was quickly filled from last minute wedding prep), extra towels, extra people in one room, they were SO flexible and cheerfully accommodating. Basically, I can't say enough good things about them and I would strongly recommend anyone and everyong staying there!

Bride and Family Got Royal Treatment

Staff was friendly and easy to communicate with, took £40 deposit as we was on a 24 man stag do but got back at the end. Central to most things but was based in the ruins (old town). Very clean and would use again!! 

Can't believe it's only 2 and a half star!!

We stayed in a beautiful two-room apartment, in a newly built, very well-maintained and modern building, with minimal but functional furnishings, and everything complete. The location, perhaps a little decentralised, but very convenient for the proximity of shopping centers and public transport. The availability of reception is exemplary and very prepared. The only downside is the presence in the nearby apartments of many young holidaymakers, so slightly noisy, but nevertheless acceptable. I highly recommend it.

Family system in Budapest

The hotel is very nice, with all the amenities, you feel at home, a beautiful, stylish garden in the courtyard creates a pleasant atmosphere, and the hotel itself is a short distance from the centre, just over a kilometer from the Danube, near the metro station.

Locust hotel

We stayed in an apartment for 4 people for 4 nights. Even though the price was very low compared to Italian standards we found ourselves in a spacious two-room apartment, very clean and with modern and functional furnishings. Great location because very close to the center and also wanting the subway. Particularly appreciated the shuttle service that came to pick us up at the airport and brought us back the day for 12 euros.
