GC Hostel & Rooms

GC rooms was our base in July when we came to Hungary mainly to watch the F1 but also as our first couples break together. The location was perfect, right next a to some of the best restaurants I've been to and 2 steps away from the underground station. The owners were super accommodating letting us arrive and check in at 2am in the morning. Our room was small but clean. We had a shared kitchen and our own bathroom. The bar downstairs had karaoke nights which were great fun if slightly loud. Served good beer at ridiculous cheap prices. We paid 30 euros for air con for 10 nights which was a pretty good deal as it was scorching outside. Our only issue was our bathroom which was tiny and slightly grubby and flooded every time you had a shower. We also had trouble with some people staying at the same time as us because the three rooms make up a sort of mini hostel. Obviously that's not GC rooms fault but nothing was done about noise or people trying to get into our room at 3am. All in all a great stay. Would definitely recommend on value for money.
