I am a frequent traveler to Honduras but this was my first time to visit Tegus. My kids and I had been traveling for 32 hours by the time we arrived and we were exhausted. An acquaintance had made our reservations and I admit I was very skeptical at first. When we checked in I was so tired that I couldn't remember half of what the young lady at the front desk had told me. All I knew was there was breakfast served somewhere in the hotel but I wasn't sure of the times or location. We were given our key and told where our 1st floor room was. When we got in the room I felt a little strange having a door leading to what looked like back entrance or a small break area. It was clean but I wasn't sure what it was and therefore didn't venture out there. We kept the windows/curtains closed for that part of the room. Our other windows looked out into the hallway of the hotel so those also remained closed. The room was very clean and spacious. I was expecting a friend to come and escort us to a very late supper. I received a phone call from the front desk asking if I knew my friend or if I needed the armed guard to escort him from the hotel. I have to say that actually made me feel very safe and comfortable. Upon our return to the hotel, we fell into an exhausted sleep and slept very well. The only recommendation that I have is that there should be a pamphlet given to the guests with important information on it like the breakfast hours and wifi password. Otherwise our stay was very pleasant and I will consider staying here again if I should return to Tegucigalpa.  

First time in Tegus

The hotel has also a good wifi signal, it is very well located and the staff is really friendly and helpful. The only thing I didn't like was the noise beause the room I stayed on was on the first floor next to what seemed like an office. I stayed two nights and I would recommend it for business trips/quick stays as it is very basic but worth the good price and the location is very convenient.

Nice, clean,easy access

At the end of service expedition we stayed here 1 night prior to flying home out of Tegu. Property is aged but clean. Beds are very firm (!). Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was included in our price (equivalent of <$30 US). You order off menu from American or Honduran-type breakfasts. It was pretty tasty. 
We will definitely stay here again when traveling through Tegu.
Be aware: this is not really a tourist hotel, more of a businessman's hotel so most of the staff speak Spanish, not English.
