The surroundings are very nice and tropical. Once inside, the room was small, dark and crowded. It feels like a makeshift thrown together room with a kitchen we didn't even use and an uncomfortable bathroom with crooked and mismatched pieces.  Uncomfortable beds and pillows. The staff was indifferent and not very helpful. You have to pay extra for drinking water, beach chairs, and beach towels. The rooms are not as nice as they make them look in the pictures.

Hello fellow Roatan lovers!  We just returned home from our most amazing time in Roatan.  My husband and I stayed at Seabreeze Inn for a little over three weeks and I cannot begin to say how much we loved the place, but I am going to try...First of all, the location at Half Moon Bay, right across the street from the beach,  was perfect for quick access to the beach, snorkeling right off the beach, and all the wonderful restaurants in West End.  The room itself was super comfortable, clean, and affordable for our extended stay.  The staff is so accommodating and food at the Cannibal Cafe is delish.  Also, the owner, Kevin, makes fresh pastries every morning the are superb.  Speaking of the owner, Kevin and his girlfriend, Jessica, totally made our stay in Honduras.  Both are super engaging with the guests and have vast knowledge of everything to do in Roatan.  We went on a night snorkel with them that was an experience that my husband and I will never forget.  Cannot recommend the night snorkel enough.  You see an entire different underwater world and Kevin knows exactly where to go in the bay to see the most sea creatures.  Kayaks are readily available as well.  Furthermore, Kevin recommended and arranged for an adventure on the mainland out of La Ceiba with Omega Tours Eco Jungle Lodge & Adventure Company.  The Lodge itself is a little piece of paradise.  You can arrange all your activities, such as horseback riding and whitewater rafting through this company and will experience something you will never forget.  Still reeling from this experience.  We will most definitely be staying at Seabreeze Inn and The Eco Lodge again next year!  Thank you to all the wonderful people at Seabreeze Inn and the Eco Lodge that made our stay absolutely magical and unforgettable.

Just a wonderful experience!

I came t oRoatan to dive, and most of the sites and dive shops are located on what is called the "West End."  This small hotel was within 50 yards of my dive shop,  It was located on the main street, yet it was still quiet.  It's a budget hotel, just what I was looking for, as I was there to dive!   It has a restaurant on site, the Cannibal Cafe, that's very good for all meals.  The owner was a baker in a former life, and the pastries are excellent.

I spent six nights there, and wound up paying less for those six days than I've spent for one night in decent hotels in major cities in the U.S.  The food was an excellent price and value as well.  

The service was prompt, friendly, and excellent.  I can't say enough about them.  All in all, my stay there was one of the best valued and most pleasant I've had in years.  If I'm ever back on Roatan's West End, I will be back at this hotel.

Incredible and pleasant value!

My daughter and I stayed there for three days and had a really nice time. The staff were all super nice and helpful, and the food was delicious. You have to try the pastries, the owner (Kevin) previously owned a bakery in the US and has top notch skills. If you end up not staying at the Seabreeze you can still get the pastries at Cannibal Cafe. We did the night snorkel and saw a lot of amazing sea life and used the equipment to visit West Bay and snorkeled there as well. A great central location, close to everything we wanted, but the rooms are set off the street far enough back that still quiet. 

The owner supports a lot of great people and organizations on the island. Involved in conservation and empowerment of locals. I would go back in a heart beat!

Honduras haven

This is in the heart of West End just a few steps to half moon bay.  The rooms are impressive for the price and worth checking out.  They also offer water activities.  Do yourself a favor and stop in to see Kevin

Great location, excellent room, wonderful host!!!

I just spent 2 weeks at Sea Breeze Inn and I've never had better service. The owner (Kevin) and staff went beyond any expectation I've ever had.

I really liked out room which had 3 beds, a kitchen and a wonderful patio.

Oh, and since Kevin is a superb baker, be prepared to be tempted by delicious pastries every Monday, Wednesday & Friday.

Sea Breeze is about a 3 minute walk at most from the beach & excellent snorkeling & / or scuba diving.

Kevin will also help you with dining options. We ate at several places he recommended and they were truly culinary experiences.

For scuba excursions, I recommend Coconut Divers.

Phenomenal Staff & Location

We stayed here on our trip Roatan and thoroughly enjoyed it.  Kevin (the owner) went out of his way to make us feel at home.  It is centrally located in West End.  They serve a great breakfast and on some days Kevin will wake up very early and bake all kinds of pastries.  Highly recommend.

Great Hospitality

Perfect location. Walking distance to many restaurants, bars and the beach. Friendly and helpful staff. Tours were awesome. Food was exceptional. Very safe location. Water taxi is right across the street to get to West Bay. Excellent value. Will be back.

Excellent

Our stay was unfortunately very short but it was a very pleasant, comfortable one.  Rooms are clean an well equipped. Only a few meters from the sea front where we were able to go snorkeling on the reef. Fab place for families.

My friends and I come to Roatan every year and stay at the Se Breeze Inn.  The owner, Kevin, is a great host and makes sure all guests are well taken care of.  The staff are fabulous from the cleaning crew to the the Cannibal Cafe staff.  Rooms are clean with excellent AC units.  Night snorkeling and kayaking are offered through the Inn.
