I thoroughly enjoyed myself at the Gil Resort. A wonderful staff (language was a little bit of a barrier, but that's on me). I had a first floor room, and frequented the covered deck out on the water for a window to the gulf. Nice two level restaurant that serves coffee and breakfasts. Was able to walk just about anywhere I wanted. No problems with soap, sheets or smells, discussed in older posts.
