Roads is Costa Rica are the worst I have seen in the world. Car rental is a scam. Stay with reputed companies. Rented a car with Solid Car Rental. Flat tire was the result of gravel and pot holes on dirt roads from hotel to main roads. Stayed in Hotel Linda Vista. Hotel has amazing views of Arenal Volcano and Lake. Solid Car Rental has no office in La Fortuna. Changed my flat tire. Solid Company charged for new tire. $110.00.Make sure whek you rent tires are in good condition. After paying for extra insurance on road side assistance.No help was offered and has to wait till I returned my rental car in Liberia.
