We had a good experience at Jungle Lodge Hotel. We only stayed one night, but our room was comfortable and clean. As others have mentioned, we did lose power in the evening but it came back on around 5am. 
We ate at the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast and were impressed with the service. The servers were attentive, friendly and our food arrived very quickly. 
The grounds are beautiful, well kept and it is such a short walk to the park.

Good choice for Tikal

We really liked staying at Jungle Lodge. The grounds, lobby, pool and room were all wonderful. It was nice to have easy access to a restaurant. The convenience and walkability to Tikal National Park was amazing and I’d stay here again if I were to come back. We enjoyed our Tikal tours and then lounging by the pool with a beer. 
The hotel does give you 2 bottles of water per day. If you need more you can buy it in the restaurant or bar for 25Q. At the entrance of the park it’s only 10Q, which is an option.

The WiFi is only available in the lobby and pool areas, but they have ample seating if you are wanting to hang out on your phone. 
The electricity times were not a problem for us and had no trouble keeping our electronics charged. The ceiling fans in the rooms do continue to work even in the off-electricity hours (thank god). 

I would recommend this hotel.

Immersed into Tikal

Wow what a hotel and what a location. Great place to explore Tikal. Food was really good too.

Airport transfers went smoothly and great communications prior to stay.

Also didn’t sunrise and sunset tours arranged by hotel. Explored by myself during the day.

Wouldn’t stay anywhere else if visiting Tikal

This is the best Hotel in Tikal, and very close to the park entrance.  We walked into the park from the front entrance.
The rooms are rustic, but functional.  We had air conditioning but not all rooms do.
WiFi is only available in the main lobby building.  Electricity is only available in the morning and evening.  We didn’t try the pool, but it looked very pleasant.
Service was average to poor.  No extra effort is made for the guests.

Very close to Tikal

We picked this hotel mainly for the location, and it was well worth it! The hotel is located directly inside Tikal, with just a quick 5-10 minute walk to the sights. The location allowed us to walk down in the morning around 7am, and see the temples without any of the tour groups and experience the views with just the two of us. We had a car during our stay, and the hotel has it's own little parking lot located right by the lobby. We we arrived quite early for check-in, but the hotel was able to store our bags. It seems like they don't do check-in much earlier than the 3pm set time, so just a heads up if you arrive early -- you probably can't get inside your room. Our room was very spacious, modern, and clean. We were quite impressed. The walls were slightly thin though, so we did wakeup around 4am, when we heard our neighbors moving around and talking. Also, we don't know if it was just our bungalow, but we didn't have any shower pressure or hot water during our stay. Also, there are set points in the day where the electricity is cut -- I believe it's cut for around 16 hours of the day, so charge your devices accordingly. WiFi is only available in the lobby, with zero cell service, but you are in the middle of the jungle so this does make sense. 

We ate all of our meals at the restaurant. There was good selections, with a lot of variety, and everything tasted really good. The prices are alittle steep for Guatemala, but with limited other choices in the area, it's expected. There is a really nice cozy bar area with plenty of chairs and board games, with a nearby game room with pool. The property itself is very relaxing, with the sounds of the animals all around, and the feeling of being completely immersed within nature. 

Would stay again if in the area.

Great Experience in the Jungle

Beautiful location and so great to be able to walk to Tikal. Great food at restaurant, nice staff and room was great.

We loved it

Loved this hotel. Suites were very nice. Large beautiful bathroom. Restaraunt was delicious and reasonably priced. Service was excellent. Stayed two nights.  We were able to enjoy a Sunset tour and go on our own in the early morning, 6:30 AM, to enjoy the magnificence of Tikal.  Also went on a day tour provided by Cayo Island Expedition in Belize. Enjoyed the staying in the jungle but in great comfort. Lack of air conditioning was not a problem. We were comfortable with the fans moving the air.

It is a nice place and really the only hotel option around. So you have no choice. I would recommend the hotel for sure. It is convenient to the entrance of the park. The staff are nice and helpful. I feel they could clean the rooms up a little better or provide more in-room amenities.

This is my second time here and it is beautiful sounding by nature. I wish they have more Guatemalan food.
