This is the perfect place to stay in Antigua! The rooms are huge, the entire place is authentically Guatemalan, and the location is perfect. It is truly a boutique hotel (five rooms in total, I think) and you can tell they care about every guest. The common areas are incredibly beautiful (see pics). My room had a cute little outdoor courtyard. The kitchenette was very nice. And the breakfast…perfect! It’s very reasonably priced and you can choose the beautiful outdoor courtyard or the outdoor terrace with a gorgeous view. There is a wonderful spa next door, a panaderia a few doors down, and a little convenience store also just a few steps away. The location really can’t be beat! They will arrange transportation from the airport to the hotel and I definitely recommend doing that. When I first stepped outside, there was a massive confusion of people and I thought, “I’m never going to find my driver!” But I found him within seconds because he was holding a big sign very high with my name on it. In summary, choose the Cissus Hotel , you will not regret it!
