The hostel has a very good location for wherever you want to go, the rooms were clean but there was one detail, the bathrooms were not clean or oily, it is an aspect to be improved.

Very good location 

we stayed here for 2 nights while we were in Antigua, its clean and close to everything you need. The staff are lovely and help with anything you need, the english is a little broken but you can get by most of the time. Its quiet of a night if thats what you are looking for

Quiet and Close

Spend one night in a single room. Everything was fine except that at night rats were everywhere. Forgot to close my door and a rat was even in my room. Beside from that rats were running outside of my window, in the hall and in the walls. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of it. Lived on the top floor. 
The staff was nice and welcoming and the internet was good. Therefore two stars.

Rats!!

That's the perfect hostel for backpackers. It's close to the bus station, the market and 5 minutes to the center. The rooms are basic but clean and private. In free time you can go up to the beautiful terrace. There is a good view, a clean kitchen and plenty of space to relax. The wifi is very fast and the bathrooms are clean as well. The boss and the other workers are very kind and like a family. Especially in my moment (yo tube troubles-me stealing). The imperial hostel was a great help, very kind people and always want the best for you!

Friends in poverty.

This hostel was very convenient and very helpful with my travels, with a beautiful view. They fill anyones traveling needs. The view of fuego de volcán was absolutely stunning. It has a very nice roof top within the heart of antigua with a 360 view of the city. Only blocks away from Arco de Santa Catalina. It also had a grill which was nice when hanging out on the patio.Close to a Atm that even takes even my Canadian debit.  I really like how there was a safe to lock anything important aswell. The owner is a very trust worthy and smart guy who is always willing to help you with the best deals and places to go. They even hooked me up with taxis that I could trust to be on time for a good price. Everyone at the hostel is very happy and the prices are really good for what you get. Overall my experience wouldn't be nearly as good if I didn't stay with Imperial. Can't wait for the next time I come down!

Very convenient excellent hostel for anyone traveling

That was a very good service, clean rooms, no smoking area, and a great view of the city and the "Monte de la Cruz" Also the Arco de Catarina what is located just 4 blocks away from the place. And the prices are not expensive so everyone can afford it.

Very Good Service

I was welcomed and satisfied with the room that met all my criteria: a very interesting price (about 10 euros), a bathroom, a bed and a good location. Only the (major) problem was that I couldn't sleep at night because the employees or their friends were talking hyper loud and playing music.

I can't sleep

This is one of those places where I kept saying, one more day please, one more day please... :) The beautiful people running this place are so very very nice and accommodating! They are very easy going and friendly and let you be at the same time. Just the way I like it :D The rooftop is amazing and has the best view- it's incredible. Great place to enjoy your breakfast or lunch or dinner that you made in in the kitchen- or to do some yoga...take pictures, meditate, chill... I like this place a lot!

Lovely people and amaaaazing view of Antigua and it's surroundings mountains and volcanos

It's not luxurious but very clean. The people of the hostel are very friendly, with a smile put on and willing to help you. Very central and close to everything important. Central square 5 minutes away, market 3 and many other areas of interest. Young atmosphere and from all over the world. Well equipped kitchen on a rooftop with wonderful views for common use. 100% recommended.

Exactly what I was looking for.

It's more of a hostel than a real hotel, with a shared kitchen and a nice terrace on the roof.
