Apartamentos Los Nazarenos might be the loveliest place my husband and I have ever stayed in. After only 1 day in our apartment my husband asked if I could get a teaching job in Antigua so that we could live in one of the apartments full time! The apartments are roomy, extremely clean and provide every possible amenity one could wish to have. If Antigua wasn't such a beguiling city we might have spent our entire two weeks holed up in the apartment complex! There is a small but adequate gym, a huge beautiful pool and an equally huge jacuzzi. A sauna room is in the works. The view from the rooftop terrace is lovely and a wonderful place to while away a morning or an evening. The complex is made even more heavenly by the superb employees who ensure that our every need and comfort was attended to. A special shout out goes to Margeory and Johnny. Both should be cloned, immediately. Stay at Apartamentos Los Nazarenos, just don't tell too many people. We want there to be availability next time we come to Antigua!

Home away from home...only better! 

I was blown away when I walked in and saw the courtyard, pool and jacuzzi. Absolutely beautiful and such a peaceful place to study Spanish while I attended a school less than a minute walk away. Margeory was incredibly responsive and staff keeps the place in amazing  shape. Will be staying here every time I come to Guatemala and the value is as good as you will ever get!

Incredible value

This place is the best I have EVER stayed in.  The staff is the BEST. They took INCREDIBLE care of us the entire stay. The host was amazing and our apartment, beautiful and clean. If you are in Antigua, this is the ONLY place to stay.  It was a quiet and calm relaxing paradise with great views and amenities!  (Also within walking distance of everything.)  

AMAZING staff, host, furnishings, service…the BEST!

This place was referred by "Spanish Antiguena Academy", a school for learning Spanish, which the four in our family attended for two weeks.  What initially attracted us to this hotel was that the school's beautiful outdoor learning venue was ONLY 1 block from Apartmentos Los Nazarenos. But we quickly discovered that this place was a gem in every way! Firstly, Margeory is a wonderful manager! So kind, helpful and always available in person or by text or email.  The entire maintenance & cleaning staff is extremely kind & helpful.  Our two-bedroom apartment was wonderful!  Beautiful, central grassy garden and floral landscape. Beautifully designed swimming pool and hot tub. Very clean and well-maintained.  Outdoor grilling area. Very adequate work-out room with a stair-stepper and weights. Incredible roof-top view of the volcanos and mountains surrounding Antigua. Reasonably priced in-house laundry service.  Located on the edge of Antigua but very easy to walk to all areas and Uber is readily available as well. Private garage to park our vehicle.  Code required to enter the walled-in facility, so we felt extremely safe.  While we were there apartments were occupied by either families or single professionals that worked remotely and decided to travel the world. Overall, this place was perfect for our family!

My 2nd time here my wife's 4th time here. Great place. Clean and central located.
Staff is spot on. They are very easy to talk to and are more than helpful. This is how a hotel should be ran. Quite   ( a few barking dogs, in the neighborhood but they are everywhere in town.  New construction work is  ongoing but not a bother to us. 
I could go on and on but I said it. Great place to stay.

Highly recommend this place!

Stayed for 3 weeks for studying Spanish and weekend excursions to go birding. Excellent value. Well appointed premises, rooms, bathrooms, pool, Jacuzzi, terrace.

AN EXCELLENT CHOICE FOR LONG TERM STAY IN ANTIGUA

I travelled to Antigua with my dad and I wanted to make sure we stayed in a place where he felt like home every time we came back from a day of adventures. A place he could unwind, rest and relax each evening.  And this place did just that, for both of us!  It was superbly clean, friendly staff, beautiful location and grounds.  Even though they were doing renovations (to make it even more spectacular!), the construction never got in the way of the relaxation. Margeory even went the extra mile when I realized that I left a souvenir in the apartment and had them sent home with a couple that would mail them to me from the US! Absolutely Amazing service!
I would definitely recommend this place and if I ever end up back there, it will be the place I book again!

The place was PERFECT!

This place is WOW. 
First, Alejandra and Tom are just amazing: They are extremely nice and helpful! They went out of their way to help us over and over again, and all with a smile:) They are both hosts and friends, and it gives such a homely feeling to the place. All of the staff are also very friendly, everyone is always smiling and willing to help. 
The place itself is also amazing - we got a spacious apartment, very clean and nicely designed. Two bedrooms with queen beds, a fully equipped kitchen and the best shower I've had in Guatemala. It even had a pretty strong wifi! All the apartments are facing a shared garden, with a lot of hammocks which we used all the time, to read a book or just to chill.
The location is ok. I have to admit it's not as centered as some other places, but it is just a short walking distance from the center (10min to Iglesia de la Merced). We walked it most of the time, which was a nice way to finish the day, and when we were too tired - there are a lot of cheap Tuktuks and Ubers around.
In general, we had a great time here. It was definitely the best place we stayed in on our trip to Guatemala and we felt so lucky we chose it! Alejandra, Tom and the staff really made us feel that we have a home in Antigua. I absolutely recommend this place with all my heart. 

This place is WOW. 

My wife and I traveled to Antigua to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We stayed at Apartmentos los Nazarenos for 6 nights.. we fell in love! Not only with our choice for a place to stay, but with Antigua itself! Tom was out of the country during our visit, but Cristy and Jazmine did a wonderful job of making us feel at home. We both have virtually zero Spanish capacity, and it was so cute having them both use a translation app to help us out.. Our apartment, #5 was delightful! Everything we needed and then some! I heard the rooster too, but only after waking up and sitting on the upper deck. It added to the overall experience in a very positive way for me. At any rate, we hope to return.. and hopefully I’ll be brushed up on my Spanish by then too!

Amazing Place to Stay

My wife's second stay my first. Great location and fine accommodations. Very clean and secure. Most comfortable beds. Owner is very engaged with customers and willing to help with any questions. Staff is very friendly and hard working. I do not give many "excellent"ratings on Trip Advisor but here is one. Thank you Tom and Cristy for making my first time in Antigua a very pleasant one. I do hope to return.
Grounds are clean and cared for.
